Really helpful having a commentator! I would never have figured out what was going on behind the scenes with out it.

Does anyone still play Tak? Still playing since release (5x5) and taught a friend how to play today

Is there anything more happening with Tak for 2018, or 2019??? Just found out about this game despite reading the books years earlier. Such a great game, and hope it grows.

Could Sultan pepper not have won at move 24? Maybe I'm confused about stack movement rules. If you move a stack across multiple tiles, does it have to be in a straight line or could you move in an L shape?

+Jason Wall All movement has to be in a straight line, can't change direction. Thanks for watching!

why 6x6 tabletop and not 5x5?

Because it's the court game.

Out of curiosity. Why play with a best 2 out of 3. I thought Tak had a rule written to offset the slight first player advantage in the form of two games, but point scored on the game + number of tiles remaining, to determine true winner after 2 games. I guess I understand that could maybe still lead to a tie, but then we have a tiebreaker at that point. Doesn't running it as best 2 out of 3 change the holding of tiles as a strategy a bit, and in effect the nature of the game?

are you sure those are 2 out of 3s?

Once we get bored of 6x6 we will have 8x8

With two capstones

7x7 has proven to be of interest; also with 2 capstones.

More walling would probably be the way to go.

E.g., move 28 of the second game; a standing stone on b4 could have taken the stack on b5, etc.
