My mom who was WAY ahead of her time would puree left over home made vegetable soup, from our huge gardens, and add it to cake batter or bread loafs. It was so fine you never saw it in the finished product but boy was it delicious!!

Another beautiful video thanks. I thought I would share the gentle suggestion to replace the word 'smudging' with something else like 'smoke cleansing.' Smudging is a specific indigenous practice of the folks of Turtle Island. I'm sure you know herbs have been used in burning for cleansing for many thousands of years and smudging is just one form of that. Smudging has been appropriated from a peoples that have had everything stolen form them. I really love to enjoy smoke cleansing with herbs (using traditional European herbs like mugwort and rosemary as that's where I'm based), but words are important, so I lovingly prompt you and others to consider how you phrase this practice. Apologies if this has been addressed in more recent videos - I'm catching up from the start. From one folk herbalist to another xxx

I’m just starting to drink coffee again after not drinking it for most of my life. It’s supposed to be amazing for the liver, and I have a form of liver disease and my specialist recommended it to me. I can’t stand all the caffeine so I get a Swiss water process decaf and make a cold brew because it’s less acidic.
