Many years ago, I worked on a passenger ship in one of the many bars onboard, and each evening when I began my shift, the pianist, knowing how much I love this piece, would play it for me as I entered the bar...by doing so, he always made me feel special, and so began my shift in a happy state of mind...wonderful

I loved the arpeggios at the beginning. Somehow you give this song a slight italian flavor. I can't explain it, but it is there. Excellent.

I can't but agree with all those comments below. This is the best improvised masterpiece I've ever heard. Would you be so kind to publish the notes. No matter would it be pdf, midi or just macro photos of your handwriting, i think, generations would be grateful to you for educating them how to create such unique and incredible emotions. On my opinion, this version of the song should be written down for ages as Chopin's Beethoven's and others' masterpieces

I liked u far before u ever recorded "THE SUMMER KNOWS" and long after, I keep returning to it. I love this song so much, very few times in my life, I've ever heard that song as special as the way u play it. U truly give it something extra special. Life goes by so fast, I wish, a moment, and often imagine siting with u at the piano for an evening, having wonderful musical conversations, u are truly one of my favorite jazz pianists in the world. I always wish u life, and great happiness my friend

Thanks donkingcpa, at moment I have no scanner, but sometimes I upload the midi-files of some of my versions, which can be converted to score. For example Sophisticated Lady - Piano improvisation. Just have a look when you have time :)
