Not sure if you’ll love the genre (romance) but I highly recommend that you read “This Summer Will Be Different” by Carley Fortune. It takes place in PEI (and Toronto). Lots of great Canadian and Anne references. I think you’ll like it.

I actually have thrifted all her books, but haven’t read them yet! Her first one is based in Barry’s Bay which is where we had a cottage growing up so that’s fun too. I definitely want to read them ❤️

I truly always enjoy any of your videos. I always get a huge smile on my face when I see you pop up on my sub feed. Your kitty looks so much like our little Ezekiel and I loved to hear his purr. Oh goodness do I also HATE being overweight. Yet I LOVE food so much and it feels overwhelming to change my lifestyle. Today I quit IG cold turkey and I’m hoping it will help my mental health and perhaps free up time to live more intentionally…which may trickle down to making better choices for myself. I’m still going to keep my YT because it’s my creative outlet and moving journal to life. I see your channel in a similar way, years from now you will be so glad you did this! In the company of witches. It’s nice and small and it sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing your beach day. I also always love to take in your scenery, it’s greatly different from mine.

You’re so kind! Facebook and instagram are nothing but stress for me anymore…instagram feels so impersonal now and Facebook is ridiculous. Short form content is fun and addictive but leaves me feeling used. I still adore KZbin though and refuse to give it up. I’m with you. Our kitty is getting old, sadly. He’s 13 now, but so so special. That’s funny, I often think our landscape is boring, but forget that it’s unique too. Thanks for the reminder. I went with The Honey Witch and, so far it’s reminding me of Anne Shirley meets Bridgerton meets practical magic 👌

I understand the issue with weight! it seems like the day I turned 45 any weight I put on I can’t get rid of! ❤ Now at 49 it’s glued there it seems!
