That petal fuel cap. Is it a bayonet fit or an expanding one like the oil tank one? I have the wrong (plain round bayonet) one on my bike but I'm not sure what the proper fitment should be for the right petal shaped one

It’s a pie crust cap with the expanding petals when you rotate it. Not a great design in my view - I’ve broken one and lost another so far. If you have a bayonet fitting then I’d say you’re better off!

Hi Terry, I,m enjoying riding my 1942 Wd G 3L having just built it up from a box of bits , however as with my other bikes I want to fit a mirror of the sort you have , but could you answer a question please, the bars on my bike are sealed at the end so I am hoping you will tell me that the mirror you have is the sort that will clamp round the outside of the bars ??????
