This is one of, if not my favorite feel-good comedy of all time. Some cast members say this was a huge box office disappointment, but it actually did okay for what the budget was.

The scene when eakian is drunk at the party laughing like woody wood pecker and is “ almost” fun and him trying to put the couch fire out has to be one of the funniest things i ever saw 🤣🤣🤣🤣😆

Thanks so much for recording and posting these videos, Brian. They are great! Like you, I loved this movie and I can't believe it's celebrating its 35th anniversary this month. If you were able to pull off a 35th anniversary screening this year, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

I would like to say thank you from Germany for this brilliant piece of movie history! It was next to Ferris the film of my life which was completed with pulp fiction and fight club. But don't forget the dude.

This film was a lot of fun. Being a horror geek (back in the 80's) I loved the TCM references. This film sticks in my heart as it was also so funny. (Yes, I have tried to get out of my car with my seat belt on lol)

It would have been great to see Shawnee Smith on here and see if she had anything to say about the personalities of Chainsaw and Dave or the classroom murder prank scene either influencing or fating her to later star in the Saw movies.

I love Shawnee Smith and contacted her reps but she was not available. I had one week to put the event together. I'm thrilled by how many cast members participated.

@@brianmcquery Well, thanks for doing so, man. It was great for the rest of us to see what part of the cast that we could like this nearly thirty years later. It really sounds like they all had a blast making this movie together. ... I just wish Lucy Flippin had been there also to tell them all off for forever ruining her aspirations to teach high school with that quirky little prank of theirs. =P

I had about a week to get as many guests as I could and I'm thrilled with the panel of guests who participated. I tried to get Director Carl Reiner, but this was a midnight show and thus too late for him.

@@kaledadam3955 It's been almost 10 years, but to the best of my knowledge Harmon was on vacation. This was June so presumably he was on hiatus from NCIS. I don't remember specifics about Courtney. Kelly Jo Minter was a possibility, but all I remember is her rep contacting me after the event.

They all held up well but the damn teacher, who is likely 10 years older than the rest of them looks the youngest!! Eikian looks/sounds exactly the same!!

They were not available. But hopefully you appreciate that all of these cast members appeared for free to celebrate the film and we filmed it and shared it so that you can watch it.

At one point, Gary Riley was mistakenly written as being deceased in wikipedia. Glad he's still with us.
