Its just the prediction, not 100% true. Fish bite just depends on current and air pressure, different spots need different current.

One of the best videos I've seen in a while. Love the raw emotion, and the honesty. Good to see us fishos share the same anxiety of breaking the donut, no matter our experience. In regards to phases and the almanac, I think the help the confidence and perhaps help the odds. But you will almost definitely catch fish if you find the patch, at the right time of day/tide, and present the right bait or lure in front of their nose.

Your always better off with a line in the water having a go rather than sitting at home, my pb snapper came on a 2500 with 10lb braid and 18lb leader, went 75cm in Moreton bay.

Get a marine chart and check the depth lines and contours, also go ask some trawler operators if they know of any hookup or wreck locations// above all that get a great fishfinder and plow the waters for rubble patches

If a line is not in the water you'll never catch fish. The best advice I have been given is fish when there is tidal movement in the water. I fish Estuary & river. I do consult my Solunar charts but, like you, I have caught fish on the Poor days. I have also NOT caught fish on the Excellent days. A great video. The Little Green Monster was looking over my shoulder while I watched it.

Adrift Fishing hey mate, cheers! The only time I can hear a hiss is when my mic’s are connected. Usually as a result of some corrosion on the plugs from the salt water. Other then that, even in the wind they are usually really good 👍

Hi Sammy. Myth busted mate. Just a question. You are fishing on your own in Moreton Bay. How big is your boat in length? I stop at Macleay Island as soon as i see open water. My boat is a 2018 Stacer 4.29 runabout with a 50 hp yamaha 4 stroke on the back. Do you think this type of boat would be safe in the bay in calm weather. I never leave the southern Moreton Bay Islands and the fish look tempting up that way. Any advice would be appreciated. Keep up the great videos.

G'day mate, Yes I fish Moreton bay solo all the time, as well as a lot further offshore. your 4.3 would be fine on a good day. Just need to pick the right weather. My boat is 5.6m long. Cheers!

There is no guaranteed you come home with cooler full with fish or empty handed what matter is while you are fishing there is fish down there and they're in mood for eating ....
