Summer Swell - Surfing Folly Beach

The last morning before I left for Florida blessed us with a dreamy day of waves. It was a great to share the moment with friends and see lots of smiles. Sick dude, question do you ever worry about sharks and have you ever seen a shark while surfing folly beach, I’m going surfing there and just wanna know if I should be worried

there are sharks but they never come to shore. also there are always dolphins and they scare away sharks so you should be good

Yes but they don’t mess with you there was one under my board for like 5 seconds and the it swam away

Nah. As long as you stay at that beach. The only beach here that would worry your mom is Sullivan's island. It's the closest one to "Bulls bay" which is known for bullsharks. Super aggressive thangs. Just don't go swimming in sulivans.😂 but Just stick together with other surfers. Use surf etiquette. It's worth mentioning that They fly a helicopter regularly looking for sharks and then send out a warning. I can't say that no one has ever seen one at folley. I've seen only one right by the shore like 10 yards from me when I was a kid. And I've been at the beach a few times during a warning.
