Setzer did it. He has always adored Eddie Cochran since boyhood days. I believe Eddie upon Heaven is smiling. Setzer did helluva great job! Still today Setzer play rockablly. Very very loyal to rockabilly music. Love this lad!

Brian Setzer is in a pure class of his own, whatever they play is superb! love this band, was 13 for stray cat strut, haha didn't appreciate their brilliance! so many other genres, looking back no one is close.

Setzer is an amazing guitarist. I had a bunch of old Setzer links, some wonderful stuff, including a batch of kinda private stuff recorded in a Japanese guitar shop. All have sadly been blocked or removed due to copyright BS. When the 'Stray Cats' stuff hit, I was just blown away.

It is not Setzer alone. It is Stray Cats. Setzer in front, Slim Jim Phantom on drums, and Lee Rocker on doghouse bass. They had a great album back in 1982. Built for Speed had "Rock This Town", "Stray Cats Strut" "Jeanie, Jeanie, Jeanie", and other good cuts it was big seller in USA and UK. Do yourself a favor and check out Stray Cats.

Saw Brian's Christmas show with a big band. After a break he did a rockabilly set with just his guitar, bass and drums. Played the Buddy Holley songbook. Incredible...
