Me and my fam took a trip up to central Texas for the 4th of July. I was able to squeeze in a couple hours crappie fishing on lake palestine for the first time. Even though I did not explore much of the lake, it was a lot of fun.

I see Bonehead stumpbugs in the boat. During the summer time I pull the outside legs off, just keep the body and the middle tail. That really helps to catch them when they are doing a short bite!

I just ran across this video. The hotel you stayed at is literally right by my house. That is the same place I put in and that is a good area to fish for sure during July. Good video.

Its a midsouth tackle jig, they are out of arkansas. Id say your best bet would be to order from grizzly jig company
