I also use an electric griddle to keep my molds warm. Helps the plastisol flow better. Keeps it from rapid cooling and not fully filling the cavity.

In addition to its already impressive versatility, the Speed Worm can also be cut into two separate pieces. The cut-tail end makes a Perfect Grub, and the front end can be an anchor point for a Tail-Spinner...

Another great vid, Nerds. I look forward to coming along on your bait making journey. Plastics is the gateway lure making drug. Jigs and airbrushing and flies, oh my. 😂 If you live in a more humid climate or plan on pouring when it is raining out, a vacuum chamber is a must. Moisture bubbles are much worse than air bubbles from over stirring/shaking (which more often than not end up cooking off during the heat up). Anchor does just fine when using for injection. I've found I prefer the spout on Pyrex brand for hand pouring applications.

This is worth it if you have a lure idea that does not have a similar alternative. All the soft plastics I use are very specific and do it molds does not have them available.
@NigiriKnight5 ай бұрын
@@Ninj_SRG sure if you have that to spend to get a mold so you can have a different color or shape .i wouldnt fish arent like that. thats to catch fishermen. looks fun. pumpkin or similar, black, white is all you need if youre talking soft stuff and bass and itd be near impossible to find a shape different enough to matter. i spend my money my way though i wouldnt judge if someone spent ten thousand. i guess if you could find a way to get your own mold doneyou could have fun with it for just a few hundred id do that

@@NigiriKnight oh I don’t really bass fish. I fish for inshore saltwater and salmon/steelhead. In regards to soft plastics there are some ideas I have that are not available in the market and would probably do very well. A custom cnc mold is only 2-300 anyways
