As an international Flight Attendant I met many hotel pillows over 44 years of flying to exotic locations. Bring a pillow case to hold a rolled towel to support the natural curve of your neck. Use the pillow case as your laundry bag for return home suitcase. Those horseshoe shaped neck pillows for traveling are excellent on the plane for neck or lower back and also as your bed pillow. At the pool get 2 towels, one to lay on, one to roll behind your neck. Deeper relaxation and rest. Thanks for all the great Travel tips!

Dominique (and fellow travelers), I just wanted to share that when you are at a hotel and unhappy with the pillows in your room, many hotels offer different ones you can select from (especially the higher end hotels and resorts). Just ask if they have ie: softer, firmer, buckwheat, etc. Also, if the mattress is too firm for you, often they can bring you a mattress padding and will put that under your bottom sheet for you. I am an international flight attendant and have made use of these ammenities many times. Happy & safe travels!!

Thanks for all these! I ordered the bronzer sunscreen. One thing to do to limit hair damage from salt and chlorine is to wet the hair before getting in the pool or ocean, so the hair absorbs less of that. Even better is to put some conditioner in the hair before getting in the ocean. Helps prevent the drying.

I’m so glad you had such a good time! A little salt and sand and sun is always good for recharging your soul! And you are so right about the aloe but I always bring lavender essential oil with me as well. It helps you sleep, and relax, but also if you get bitten by bugs or ants it will help bring down the swelling and soothe the bite. You can get just a small vile that is perfect for traveling. I even keep it in my purse at all times.

Loved this video! I also squeeze in a steamer for my clothes so I always feel put together when I dress. I don't leave home without it! I also love using packing cubes - keeps me very organized. Side note: I love that you took time for yourself. So important to keep ourselves balanced and allows us to breathe again if life has been hectic.

For dry hair, before going into the ocean or pool, add Moroccanoil all over to your hair. It blocks the elements from stripping your hair of moisture. I helped brand the Moroccanoil line back in 2008 and know my stuff. The moisture shampoo and conditioner are phenomenal, the whole line really. Thanks for another great video. Deb in NorCal

Fruit of the Earth Pure Aloe is MUCH cheaper and comes in a large bottle. It is amazing at taking the redness and burn out of sunburn and chaffed, dry skin. Every time I go to Vegas-where the desert air is super dry-I develop a painful red chafing on the inside of my upper arms where they rub against my torso, as well as between my thighs. This happens within 24 hours of my arrival. I use this product 2-3 times a day and within a day, the redness and pain is gone. Now I’m smarter and start using it as soon as I arrive-and never have a chafing problem! I’ve tried other more expensive pure aloes, but they don’t work near as well as the Fruit of the Earth.

Wonderful tips. About pillow travel. I need my own pillow for a good sleep. My hack, place your favorite pillow in a vacuum storage bag . Vacuum out the air and it will require minimal space in your luggage. I put it on the top of my packed luggage. It actually protects my stuff. A silk pillow case and life is good 😆. My pillow is well traveled. 😌

Loved this video. "As we age, we should go lighter with our hair." I've heard this umpteenth times and you are proof positive that that statement is FALSE! Your hair looks absolutely fantabulous! And I love the color of your eyebrows. Question: do you use a waterproof eyebrow color/pencil and if so, which one is it? Last year my eyebrows got sparse and I use a pencil to fill them in, but worried that with the beach and pools in my near future, that they will melt off in the water. Travel tip for your pillow. Pack it in a vacuum space saver bag, zip all the air out and it creates a great bottom layer in your suitcase. They generally come with a portable pump for your return. I stuff it inside a shoe so I don’t loose space :-)

I HAVE to travel with my pillow! I have perfected my packing technique to always have room for it. Carry on only! I love the idea of the vacuum space saver bag and may have to try it. My current method which I love is to roll my pillow and put it in a bolster pillowcase. Works like a charm to compress it and doesn’t take up much room in my suitcase. I have a two week European vacation this summer which I will only bring a carry on....may try the vacuum bag!

Couple of tips for you Dominique.. I bring my own pillow but my pillow is water adjustable so you set the height you need by adding water to it; part of it is a regular pillow but the underside is water.. LOVE it for my neck that always spasms when not in a setting it is used to.. the other tip is for hats.. if you get a hat that is slightly larger there is a foam strip you can by to tape to the inside rim to make the hat fit you better.. a lady at hat store showed me this.. I thought it was brilliant.. you can put it directly on the inside or behind the inside band.. and you can put small pieces it doesn’t have to go all the way around… sneaky little trick but it works like magic….

Loved this video and the tips/tricks for travel! I have also bought travel sized items and usually "try" and use them up so I don't have to bring back home! So happy you enjoyed your vacation. We were in the Rivera Maya (Cancun) in April... it was one of the most relaxing best vacations I've taken! My sister and I were discussing rising prices of EVERYTHING! And we were talking about what women might want to cut out that aren't necessities if things get tougher. We were discussing home pedis/manis... wonder if a tutorial could be done for an at home mani/pedi for the in between! I love my pedis!

Hi. Loved the video 😘 when travelling I love an oil also but I take Elemis Frangipani solid oil. I usually leave it sitting on my balcony to melt and it’s then perfect to apply after shower in the evening. The smell is utterly delicious xxx
