The sleeve trick is an old one, we used rubber bands, the trick is to get enough above the band to fold over to hide it.

Maybe try the clear hair ties on your arms underneath the sweater, and tuck the sleeves into the hair ties to shorten them that way?

Those Velcro rollers are for volume not curls. They still require a little heat to get them going, but not like a curling iron.

the lavender scent of Mrs. Meyer's is my favorite one that they have year round, but sometimes during the winter they have peppermint and it is the best ever!

You know that blue liquid on your sink corner mix 95 percent water and 5 percent blue liquid in a spray bottle you could make it stronger 90/10 if not strong enough, also spray dishes before scrubbing

The problem is with your hair, its too long. The weight is pulling the curls out. If you cut it to about your mid-back, the curls will hold. Ask any hairdresser.
