Canabal run was from Darwin to Alice Springs ,i never saw that Fairlane there after 4 people got killed the event never happened again ,

@GerardBendotti ok i didn't know that the one they did in Darwin was big because there is no speed limit you go as fast as you want its open on that road to Alice Springs dont know if it changed now a days ,people came from all over the world with their cars in ships months before the race .the F40 Ferrari that came from Japan lost control killed the 2 in it and hit 2 volunteers on the side of the road it upsetting because it was big and they wanted to do it in Darwin every year but never happened over safely issues, dont know if the east/west was international race like Darwin n.t ,the 69 Mustang was the first to Alice Springs but the 911 Porshe made it back to Darwin first and won
