As someone who's trying to create something similar here in my tiny UK backyard (climate permitting), can I just say that Bob and Toni are my kind of people?

Haworthia are the single most underrated succulent. They are outrageously easy to grow and are stunning small plants. Everyone should give them a try!

Idk man Stapeliads have beautiful foliage (very different from Haworthia) and bizarre amazing flowers!! ;)

I like them very much too. And to my suprise, our haworthia regularly blooms and produces pups even in our north-facing window (our only window-direction we have)

I've appreciated arid lands greenhouse so much the past few years, I have found so many hard to find cynanchums and other plants from them for fair prices I highly recommend them

I discovered these guys 20 years ago online. I was looking for sources for my favorite genera to get them shipped to my nursery in Hawaii. Tony's name popping up in my email was regular pleasure for many years. Their plants were always beautiful and always packed really well. The propagation stock I bought from Arid Lands became a significant portion of my collection and definitely contributed to making my mortgage easy to pay. Thanks, Tony.❤ ❤❤ And hi Summer, I would love to meet you. It's amazing what's happened in the horticulture hobby world. I'm no longer the only geek speaking Latin 😂❤

I have a couple of their Euphorbias. Awesome plants!!! A nice Euphorbia brevitorta I ordered and a beautiful Euphorbia persistans that I got a couple of years ago from Drummonds cactus nursery in Desoto Missouri. Had an Arid lands tag. They seem to have very healthy plants from what I got!!! Thanks for the tour!!!! From Morris Park in the Ozarks, have a wonderful evening!!! Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌️💖🌵🍀🌹🌴🌻🌳💐🌱🌾🌸🌷🪴🌿😃👍

So awesome to see this nursery. I buy from them all the time. Maybe 1/3 or more of my plants are from Arid Lands. I love their plants. They always are healthy. The prices are great. They pack super well and ship fast. Im a huge Euphorbia fan and have ordered so many different species from them. I order all kinds of rarer stranger stuff from them. It was so cool to see the seedlings and stuff they are growing that isn't for sale yet. Thanks for this video.

As a South African I can say that the ‘overconsumption’ - collection of these plants by ‘collectors’ etc has created irreparable damage to our local ecosystems and as a developing country with corrupt government officials that are only driven by greed it’s honestly a losing battle. Grateful that there are real conservationists that want to ensure the survival of these fantastic plants for future generations/ecosystems.

I used to visit this greenhouse 30ish years ago when I lived there in the 90's. At that time they were known for the euphorbia and adeneums. Basically, rare succulents. Nice to see how things have changed. Dioscorea, Welwitschia, and E. decaryi are my favs.

thank you that was very informative as always i always liked the thought of doing my part in preserving threatened species with my hobby i wonder, perhaps you could make a video about the dangers of randomly creating hybrids vs. creating primary hybrids purposfully and with a goal in mind i might be mistaken but i assume the ones with "hybrid vigor" are ones that have been selected with care, while many more had none of the desirable traits of the parent species and maybe even do worse than them all the hybridisation by hobbiists going on has totally turned me off keeping any Anthuriums

I've bought plants from them many times online and I have to say, watching this guy in the interview was extremely disappointing. No one could get a word in and he was acting like such a know it all. He regularly interrupted his partner and Summer, and wouldn't allow any of her attempts to make light hearted jokes! What a bummer. Their plants are fantastic though.
