You Rock, dude. Fast, on the fly & unique tutorials is exactly what I needed to improve my skills with After Effects, Illustrator and C4D. Appreciate all the work you do for this channel.

Extra points (and a huge time saver) if you just create a frictionless, invisible rectangle and make it the parent object for the skiier. Same effect, way less work, no spheres or splines involved :D Your tutorials are incredible Matt! Also, you're hilarious. Keep up the awesome work.

All your videos are great, and the rambling is even great because you include all the information in the steps instead of leaving small detail things out. #Mtmograph #lowpoly #cinema4d

Great tut, once again. With the time, I found that using "align to spline" is much easier on a null containing your object so you have more control about positioning and rotating your object to match the movement you want.

If you don't have the studio edition to use dynamics fully. If you have the broadcast edition, you have to add the tag to either cloners, fractures, or text objects.

Hi Matt, terrific tutorial, I've been trying to figure out how to get this look in a 3d package for ages, and you nailed it, made it all seem so easy, thank you! Excellent stuff. My one comment would be that you're too hard on yourself, your work and your tuts are superb, easy with the self-criticism bro, you the man! Thanks! Matt

Mt. Mograph, thanks for the tutorial, i was looking for this kind of "style"! One thing that I notice, when you tried to rotate the skier, it was hard, right? You have to change on the Align to Spline tab the axis from Z to X, and its solves the situation :) Cya and keep the good work

thank you bro :) I appreciate your help,only thing is im a beginner and learner that's why im watching your tutorials,which are a bit too fast at times but I guess that's what the majority wants unfortunately :) I have to make an animation with stick figures or papercut figures that tells a story.I really love the looks of the style you've shown.sorry to take your time,but is there an easier way to explain it or even make a quick tutorial? that would be suuuuper awesome. I will put a link into this mail or another one to show you what I would like to achieve and if you could cover the basics of it...super nice that would be.wish u all the best.regards Yaseen :)

I'm having a little difficulty with the ArtSmart plugin, when I import the scene and the skier, anything created with the "Pen Tool" in AI only shows up in C4D as an outline, and the whole shape isn't filled in. If you have any way to fix this that would be great thanks! :)
@afrueh10011 жыл бұрын
***** Nope :( Heres a quick picture: i.imgur.com/85M3q1j.png As you can see, the arms and legs are splines and not solid objects.
@afrueh10011 жыл бұрын
***** Alright! YES! I got it! I figured out that I actually had to go back into AI and on those spline layers click on "Unite" in the pathfinder. Not sure if you explained that in the video or if I just missed it, sorry about any trouble though, thanks for all the help! Great vids by the way! :D
