Went last Sunday with some friends and it was absolutely amazing! Once again, thank you #6 for your bf’s fly by at the top ✈️!

Nice, thinking about doing this one. FYI, your caterpillar is actually a Cyanide-producing Millipede (Harpaphe haydeniana) and your jay is the Steller's jay. Cheers! :)

Thanks for the video. Have driven by the trailhead many times, but have never hiked this trail. Great waterfalls.

There was a devastating windstorm in December 2018 which included the Cameron Lake "wind tunnel" region. The countless downed trees might be from that event. (that event also impacted many other areas of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, with multi-day power outages resulting)

oh that was the same storm that devastated wesley traverse I'm guessing, so many downed trees up there too

@@IdRatherBeHiking Yes, plus all over the railway between Whiskey Creek and Cameron Lake. (the railway got their part cleaned up in early 2020)

Looks like you got your exercise on that hike!!Beautiful scenery and views. What does CPR stand for? Was it part of the railway line?
@IdRatherBeHiking3 жыл бұрын
ya it starts at the base of the railway

Is the trailhead across from Cameron Lake?
@northwoodsrunner3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the east end, across from the day use area.

I wish they made poles stronger or made them out of wood.

they're probably aluminum.. don't really hold shape well when force is applied sideways 😂
