What a great looking trawler yacht. The head room makes it look like a cathedral compared to other yachts. I also like they fitted a high gloss varnished table on the fly bridge. Very classy act this one. Cheers Capt. Steve, great walkthrough.

Very Awesome vessel . I love the built in blender ! I like the solid latching cockpit gates as well as the safety catch for the overhead. Fantastic color palette. Extremely impressed with the details on this beauty - My dream of a Fleming 55 has some competition finally.

Simply a fantastic boat! The built in blender and viewing windows add an intriguing and welcome touch to the cockpit bar area. Love the interior but would like to see a couple of those edges be rounded. Thanks, Cap'n Steve, great boat ;)

Have to say, I'm impressed. I've watched videos on lots of trawlers, and although I like their range and seaworthiness, they always seem cramped and almost claustrophobic to me. This one is so spacious and roomy, and designed so tastefully...I think I'm in love! Now, all I have to do is convince the wife to sell our house, and buy a boat. LOL Great tour as usual, Captain Steve!

I hear you. I'm 6'5" and there are many boats under 60 feet (and some over 60 feet) that don't have enough headroom in the heads and at the galley for me to stand up straight. (Surprisingly, I can stand up in several of the little Ranger Tugs and Cutwater boats, as well as most of the Nordic Tugs. They must have had tall designers.)

This is an amazing yacht by an amazing company but I don't understand the saloon layout. There isn't really anywhere that is a true saloon. It's either a dinette or a small love seat, and no "living room" even though it is a 54 footer.

The settee in the pilothouse directly faces a flat-panel TV on a powered lift. 6:57 Many owners will prefer to go to their staterooms to watch TV, though.

@@seikibrian8641 that can't be used as a salon or a living room either. A yacht of this size should have a actual saloon. Going to the master stateroom to watch TV is a bad excuse.

You want to talk about cruising yachts? Then how come all of the long range trawlers like Flemings and Nordhavns have full saloons? You going to call them dock queens?

If you're going to call an expedition trawler a dock queen, you have some studying you need to do. "And a fine $5.00 television...with remote!" I mean seriously these items need to be fitted out fully before being considered appropriate for sale in the US market. This is of course a great name and a great offering but you're selling to the most demanding customers on Earth at the moment so you really need to bring your A Game right now. Great review as always but for example in the USA we sell pocket televisions now that are wifi and Bluetooth activated and run. The other thing that drives me nuts is despite having great quality fold out tables where is some type of strapping systems to keep these items from flying all over the place if underway? How about rounded edges on the woodwork and plastic in case there are children on board let alone "A Mighty Wind." Another pet peeve I have these days and at these price points are sun pads that roast you alive if you ever lie down on one. Has anyone moved beyond the 1970s on that problem yet? And why not real leather seating? I'm not much a meat eater but I sure don't have a problem skinning and tanning the darn things. In short I think Hinckley Yachts still runs circles around most of these albeit amazing vessels. No twin sinks would be a deal killer in the US market. Full washer dryer is top notch. Total junk for refrigeration is so 1970s as well. I would be offering a full sized chest freezer to stand out from the "same old same old" distance cruiser market at a minimum, preferably just from the other side of those fine bar stools and fun drink mixer. In short "why would I want to be reaching for my ice for the blender after spending that much money Katy-K..

"No twin sinks would be a deal killer in the US market." I hate twin sinks. I want a single sink that's big enough for me to fully immerse a 12" skillet with a long handle. Even at home I'd want that...and so does much of "the US market."
