I'm blind too but its different for us, when we're watching we are able to see and process much more than they are because we are not the ones with the controller or keyboard when your playing a game you normally focus on whats in front of you not on the top left bottom right but infront of you. Just like in real like we normally turn toward the thing we are focused on but he was focused on lunging off ship. Idk if this made sense :P

Yesterday my friend and I came across 2 slops and a brig doing the fort of the damned (possibly 7) total people, we swam over to them. They were on the boss phase but my friend got on the brig with a gunpowder barrel and I was on one of the sloops. He blew up the brig and got on the cannons to shoot the sloop I was on and I shot at the other sloop and all three bots were destroyed but I think they all killed each other bc we made them think someone betrayed them XD so later after bringing out ship over and 9ne of the sloops returned and we killed one guy but his tmm8 was afk and so we used their sloops cannon and our sloop canon to kill the boss quickly and we sunk their ship and took all the loot. It was great.

To be fair, seems like he found 3 crews that were not already teamed, could not pvp, and we're fairly disorganized. It shows when it takes you that long to do fotd that it's your first time doing it... Not a bad thing! Just easier to steal from inexperienced players.
