So I don’t blame him. every fallout game has been a fun and a successful game in the past so why not per order the best edition that way you can support the company that has been giving you what you love for years. Not to mention 76 was the first fallout multiplayer game. Which that alone got everyone hyped up a while back.

@@dadshirt6681 Well first impressions are always important, if I see a product that was completely rushed and bugged on release then I’m not taking an “We are sorry” DLCs to make up for it. If you released all of these additions like NPC and an actual story after all of the backlash, you should’ve just released that with the game in the first place. I don’t wanna give them my money just because now it’s better. I don’t wanna reward that because that’ll make more companies released unpolished games that they will “fix” with DLCs down the line. That’s a practice in the current gaming industry that needs to stop

I do think it has gotten better ever since wastelanders came out, at least for me since I had pre-ordered it then played it for a couple or so days when it came out, then stopped playing it till wastlanders came out just to see how it was. However that still hasn't changed the fact how bad it and Bethesda was at it's launch.

It makes sense if smaller gaming companies release games in their alpha/beta versions because they just don't have infrastructure to sustain themselves before a game is technically profitable. But when big companies like Blizzard and Bethesda do it you can tell they are just getting lazy and trying to nickel and dime their community into paying 5x as much as they would for a finished game.

It’s a shame... they should make a fallout game based in wv. But not the bullshit they brought out. I loved the map but hated everything else. I’m from wv but don’t live there now. It could have been done better. It is a shame. Wv is beautiful. They didn’t show that. Also if a nuclear warfare broke out wv would 1000% would be the place to crash at. They should actually make a game to show it off.

The part that's the most insultive is they didn't even build a multilayer system from the ground up, this was a cash grab as cash grab can get, they attempted to capitalize on the mmo/battle royale genre and were obviously rushing because of it, funny part is if they had taken the time to make something worthwhile and released a few years later they'd be sitting pretty. Fortnite really put pressure on the entire games industry for a while to try and make successful battle royales

I got No Man's Sky half price a year after release and Fallout 76 for $10 last December. I got 30 hours out of Fallout 76 pretty much bug free before getting bored. I'm up to 100 hours on NMS paying it anywhere from 20 to 30 hours each major update. I can understand why a streamer needs to play the latest game for view numbers but I'm not sure why gamers have to. Also, buying game merch, unless you have money to burn it's a waste. If it's an investment, just buy gold instead.

I think of it as the debug room for live games. Why bother with farming an enemy to get the drop you want when you can just make a room containing all items? The trick is that these rooms or functions be not accessible on retail/master versions of the game without exploits or GameShark/Pro Action Replay codes.

I am a giant Fallout fan, pre-4, absolutely loved the games. I felt like fucking Nostradamus when this fucking game came out, because I had that gut feeling. You know that feeling in your stomach like, "This isn't right. I should steer clear of this". I had been going into my local GameStop like once a month to see what kinds of deals they had. I became friends with one of the cashiers for a time and every time I came in he asked if I wanted to preorder anything. The topic of Fallout 76 came up and I always gave my doubts about a multiplayer Fallout game, because 4 was sub par to anything that was done before and I don't think a multiplayer game would fit in the Fallout world. The cashier was always like, oh I love those open world survival multiplayer games like Ark and Rust and he said he'd put hundreds of hours into 76 and that he thinks the game would do quite well with certain people. Then I just kept on saying I don't know I think I'm gonna skip this game. I'm gonna start trusting my gut more. No more pre-orders, no more overhyping a game, no more trusting Bethesda, no more Bethesda products. I'm just done with them. I'm just gonna play Fallout New Vegas for the 23rd time. Then I'll get the Fallout 4: New Vegas mod when that comes out.

I played the game, specifically for multiplayer. I leveled up my character pretty quickly, gaining a level past 100 within a week. Found some awesome armor and weaponry.. decided to hunt some players. Found a couple guys, not very high level, I shot one of em, did very small amount of damage... Shot him again, small damage... Then the dude ran up to me, and rapid fired his little shotgun and took me out in 3 hits.... Me, who was more than double the dudes level Me, who had a battle suit on... Got killed in 3 shots... Uninstalled right there 25:10 "There's so many weird things on this huh" Yes summit, cause all this bullshit we saw Bethesda doing within Fallout 76 is all about exploiting the consumers and squeezing as much money as they can out of our pockets. "Urgent" price cuts, creating a far more Grindy game to push players towards the atomic shop, advertising a canvas bag then releasing a garbage bag. It's getting utterly ridiculous and predatory, this shits illegal.
