because at the end of the day, Kebun has been doing this for years and years now. im pretty sure he's gotten bored numerous times over with RP but he keeps doing it because that's what he is known for online. i dont think he genuinely enjoys doing it anymore and pretty sure the only reason he does it now is to make money because streaming RP is his job. that's how he keeps a roof over his head and food on his table. if he freaked out every time this shit happens (which is all the time) he wouldve been perma banned a long ass time ago and out of a job, or making way less money trying to stream RP on another server that none of his boys want to swap to bc theyre not banned and his viewership would tank, so on and so forth. summit on the other hand can freak out all he wants at this shit, on admins, at koil or whatever because he doesnt rely on RP to maintain viewers and make his paycheck. he also brought THOUSANDS of new viewers to NoPixel way back when he first started playing on the server like 6 or more years ago. summit can play whatever he wants and people will watch. Kebun cannot otherwise he loses like 70% of his audience which means about 70% of his normal paycheck no longer exists. if this was years and years back when Kebun was only at like 1000 viewers per stream, he 100% wouldve freaked out and found another server the next day for everyone to play on. theyve tried that whole "find a new server to play on" thing and their viewership tanked, i remember ramee and K trying to do that for a bit like a year or two ago. it didnt work, plus they all just do this to make a paycheck these days so none of them felt like building back years of reputation on one specific server. hard to blame them. im positive he wanted to say something and call them out for this but this dude goes through this type of shit every week at least once or twice a week. if he freaked out every time, he wouldve been banned a long ass time ago. pretty sure he just wants to make his paycheck and RP really doesnt matter to him anymore.

The sad part is that no cops will face any punishments for this, in character, or out of character. Cops don't get punished on the server. They are incentivized to escalate situations like this to shootouts, because If the cops "Perma", they would say that the cop died as the result of a crime, and press Felony Murder on the Crims. Felony Murder is 3 "Years" in prison (Basically 3 day ban), and the only requirement to press the charge is that someone has to have died as a result of you committing a crime. That is the reason they don't care about shooting through their own cops; either the cop hostages get revived at the hospital, or they get to charge the crims with more harsh punishments.

I've been watching nopixel since arma 3 days. No pixel is a lifeless shell of what it use to be. Police in gta no pixel always had issues with nvl, but at least up to 2.0 it was pretty decent. 2.0 cops started doing a lot more corrupt rp but still tried to not break rules as much. 3.0 came out and holy shit its like how can cops get away with the most bs possible. But as koil has said himself its a content server now so yeah.

Its why big streamers constantly get harassed, i mean look at xqc when he joined no pixel, man got arrested every 5 feet by like 10 cops constantly stream sniping him. @@07Hawkeye I’ll be honest at most every rpg I’ve GM’ed because the people I’m interacting with are right there, everyone kinda just respects one another even if there characters are awful and get the group into horrible situations so you absolutely hit the nail on the head with the respect thing. And it’s both sides sometimes I did feel like even Mr.K (who is an amazing roleplayer) sometimes was brutal to others for not much of a reason. Sometimes it felt like he inserted his character in RP that was fine without it but the last like year he has been outstanding actually him and ramee both.(the chats could use some work still) but over the past year ; year and a half they have both been incredibly giving roleplayers to many people not just those in CG. So yeah great addition to my comment…well said. I wish others would attempt to better themselves and their RP by actually trying some out of server IRL RP. It would help them understand that out of character you might not even like/enjoy someone but thru good RP you can actually grow to like a person you might not have initially. Or not even that and just try a bit harder to see what it’s like for the others in the situation.

I said it on many videos and people always get pissed, nopixel is a glorified social hub, not an RP server. You can't expect a good rp if everyone plays favorites and no one realistically gets punished for not RPing. This server will go south until they have some real leadership and structure with real punishment when you break rp. Koil and all these"admins" idk who runs it anymore should learn from arma 3 life lol it's so easy to manage, first offense 1 day ban, then 3 day then 7 days and so on until you can never come back. this is 100% a result of favoritism and friends helping friends get prio on the server, instead of just picking people based off of rp knowledge, and general time spent on the server. this is why on other servers people have to work for so long in the city doing "new player jobs" to understand the do's and don'ts so they don't just roll into a job like a cop and start shooting citizens because they don't know how to communicate / be patient. Thing is they should of had 3 hostages.. Even more leverage to negotiate but that cop with orange hair knew that backup was coming and also what is K gonna do shoot her for not complying just so the 10 other cops now have permission to shoot on sight? Then K and everyone goes to jail and waits for 2 hours and the cop who refused to comply and ended up getting killed will be revived and back up in 15 mins... The punishments for actions is way unbalanced and thats the problem.. A crim make a bad choice or does something they risk sitting out for an hour sometimes more in jail and possible bans or ooc punishment... A cop does it and they get a slap on the wrist and down for 15 mins.

I find it funny that no cops ever end up in the icu in these situations.. but if cg even point a gun at someone that person ends up in the icu for a week and dies but in these situations where cops dont value life AT ALL not one vop has ever ended up in the icu and personally if the cops cared about RP at all, one would go icu over this.. if i was a cop and my fellow officers shot me as a hostage id go icu just as a way to force the pd to apply punishment like they do when cg shoots a cop and they go icu so that cg gets harsher charges...

If a Cop was like that female cop giving orders when she has two criminals pointing their guns at them the only way you survive is to comply and hope they don't execute you, Obviously not a good scenario but hoping they both can't aim and shooting it out is a way worse option. (IRL)

Last time I saw nopixel was last time summit played. It looked downhill. These are genuinely problems I had as a child with other children on a playground playing tag and stuff. Im not saying playing video games is childish because I play them. But these guys signed up to "Roleplay" and then ignore the rules. Its boring to watch at the least and very frustrating for a lot of people.

Remember when I first started watching no pixel and it was just people looking for RP and doing there best to pro long it and make the entire thing great for both sides. What jared didnt know is the "I'm repairing at the half way" on the heli was the codeword too shoot which was bysons call. It was a dumb call but he also thought his 20 cops could come 2 crims without a problem. Byson did apologize to mr k and discussed the situation in jail

Not sure what exactly you're referring too but clearing the air made mr k less upset because he was less upset about dying and more upset about the one girl nvl, the other cops doing other crazy stuff before this situation even started. Also shooting mr k isnt something that crazy the cops just poorly executed it. Actual rp would be relevant because that's realistic in hostage situations.

I don't understand. This is an RP server yet the police get to completely avoid at whim all RP associated with the hospital or ambulances. Cops should have to RP ambulances and hospitals like everyone else.
