All gangs need to come together, and instead of a magdump season, they need to tell their crew "any time you see police barriers, you make a call to your squad, the words gets spread to other gangs, you get prepared, you go down there and wipe out all cops, and then dip." When Peak started talking about HUT charges, the officers that left the room immedialety after are a pretty good start to just remove them from PD and clean it up. Wrangler abused that system and others for 6+ months even after being told multiple times by admins to stop doing it and for someone to be on his side after all that is just a joke, its a surprised how he is still in the server after that.

" This was right after they lost the boost car , snow and the rest of pd then camped the gangs compound for atleast 10 min , so there were some hoppers asking what is the reason for camping outside the block , they get blasted by his chat and him , some even got timed out. I @ someone who said something not nice by saying "no need to do that here bruh" and I also got timed out for a min , and the mod said "thanks but no thanks , we know how to do our job. The problem is you have a person like pred in charge who has no business having any power. He now only plays his cop character and is the second worst person to have in a high position (first is Wrangler). He is friends with most of the admins so whatever he wants will get changed in the server without any repercussions. Shooting someone just because they cross a line is the dumbest thing they have ever implemented in the server and that is saying alot. that's just how he roleplays his character. Kyle Pred is an egotistical asshole but thats what makes him a good character. The streamer that plays him has on multiple occasions had to reel back the character even if it wasn't in line with his character just to allow for a better experience for other players on the server (the chain collection when he was using the police as a means to collect chains but after getting one chain he decided it was too strong and quit). He's very rp oriented

Most of these cops are going to be fired by IC lawsuits. You can't just shoot unarmed civilians regardless of a stupid barrier. That's the shittiest "RP" I've ever seen, and I've been to a plenty of public RP servers. Any cop that stands by that decision should be suspended for being mentally unfit to be allowed to walk around with a badge and gun. Zero RP and they just start blasting. These cops wouldn't last long on an actual serious RP server. They would have been suspended immediately and probably just flat out fired/blacklisted from the job. Majority of PD I have not seen as great RP players for over a year now and I feel like it is just going further down and away from RP. A good few are amazing and great players/people but majority I don't see do too well.

The risk of Crims puling guns and shooting the cops is so much higher than for cops to pull guns and start shooting. If a crim goes down it's almost gaurentee prison time and like 30-45min of just sitting dead in the street before getting treated, if a cop gets shot they lose maybe 5min before they get medical. The crims should be the ones to initate and take that risk because it effects them more than it does cops. The barriers make it so that any crim/civilian doesn't have that option anymore and the cops are the ones initiating, who again I'll say again risk a lot less than criminals. CPD is a joke and so are the barriers.

Rather than treating these roadblocks like the North Korean border, they should strictly just be a tool to block vehicles. It's the stupidest escalation to murder someone for "obstruction of justice" because they crossed a barrier. At the very least let them choose to resist arrest before even escalating to a taser, and if they pull a weapon you obviously have 10 sniper pistols aimed at the target's head. Also it'd be nice if they limited barriers to high-caliber raid/arrest warrants and other big scenarios, but they'll probably use the barrier as often as they can in every situation because that's what it says in the legislation (authority robots).

Just make it to whenever you need to enter the barricade you must have your hands up at all times. Anyone inside the barricade with their hands down will be arrested OR use one of th 10 cops standing around to escort the person to their desired location.

I'm confused, if they have legislation allowing for open fire on those who cross barriers. They will open fire on those crossing barriers right? So they need to get the information about the barriers out in the city as much as possible so people know not to cross the barriers. What is the drama? I like a part of it because some people were just driving by active shoutout and it was hard for cops sometimes when there is 6 guys with 20 cars driving by.In real life Nobody would drive by as a civilian but in GTA yes! Why do people make this so complicated, the reason for the barrier is to make sure people understand that this area is to not to be crossed or you will be shot. From the cops POV anyone they see while they are in a shootout, with gun out or not, if you are walking in the barrier zone towards a cop. it only takes 1second for the cop to either value their live and shoot to get rid of another person potentially pulling out a gun at them and die or give them the benefit of the doubt that this person will not kill me even though they just broke the law. IF your telling me you would not shoot given your life is at in stake in a active situation, than you should not in RP and have just broken the rule to get banned.

im pretty sure scene control works like this irl if someone with deadly intent comes up onto a scene they are shot meaning they have a weapon or are threating officers lives even just saying ill kill you can result in gun being drawed but if a normal civilian just strolls up onto a local 711 not knowing its a crime scene they are detained and then moved off the scene and released after a while if they resisted being detained they can then be arrested maybe im just expecting too much from pd and dean is right they are actually children at the end of the day this will just cause magdump season to happen more often

Department meeting with huge changes that affect your job and how you do it should be mandatory to attend regardless of how you feel. Superiors don't have their own depts. under control.

Its not rocket science. If the person does not have a gun out they are unarmed even if they have a gun in their pockets. Its not that hard to give commands to that person and say "Hey if you do not leave the area you will be tazed/arrested. If you resist you will be met with lethal force". If the person pulls the gun then shoot them.

whats the point of having a continuum of force and have them learn use of force if they're just gonna shoot on site because of a barrier, if they cross the barrier they have other means of removing people from the area that isn't just killing.

See.. what I heard is "if we have barriers up, we _want_ a shootout". As for the legislation, use it. Once you clear the blockade, take it over. Everyone one who crosses the barricade knows the legislation, right? They're aware of the consequences. This would include the PD and medics.

It currently doesn't though. When they set the barriers up outside the CG compound yesterday, they had guys on the CG roofs and the Uwu roof that wasn't even inside the barrier area, so it's not boxing them in as things stand. Unless I'm misunderstanding your meaning?

Funny how this gong show PD kinda parodies life at this point. Supreme court in america has ruled that cops do not have to provide medical care for people unless they're in custody of the cops or have a special relation with the cops in that moment. Cops can also willfully allow crimes such as assaults happen in order to protect the cops own safety. The "protect and server" thing is literally just a slogan and not their duty to the people. Some states and departments within those states have their own policies and legislation which just further obfuscates reality.

I do think that you can always use tasers first when they cross the barrier after the warnings. If they still kept going and escalated it then it's high noon shooting time. They were warned, they kept repeating the mistake and that's pretty much their fault if they kept going.
