I live in Atlanta and have been to Stone Mountain well over 30 times. If you want to do a little more walking and hiking, I recommend you check out the Cherokee Trail, a 5-mile long trail that loops around the mountain's base!

is the Cherokee trail just a mainly flat longer walk or does it include steep climbs and tricky terrain like the walk up trail does?
