this was probably the darkest and scariest episode of Captain planet even more in the original because Linka's ....friend I think it was actually died from drug overdose in the original version which is the one I saw in the reedited one they claimed that he just fell unconscious....personally they should always show the original because even if Adults think its scary and wrong to show kids death they need to see just how serious a drug addiction is and what can ultimately happen

No it ain't! Gaia said that the heart ring was the most important one of all! Without it the rings are USELESS by themselves! Heart helps Ma-Ti see true colors in people, powerful enough to resist mind control, not to mention it recharged their rings when they ALL lost their power. Ma-Ti's own natural heart power recharged his ring and it was powerful enough to recharge the others! (In Part 2 of Summit 2 Save Earth that happened)
