@@SumterWrecker Just to make a little light of the situation. I'm an over the road trucker with about 27 years experience. A couple of years ago, I did a boo-boo. Not this bad, but I did stick my front tires up into some guys back yard, that edged along a commercial warehouse. Oh yea, the home owner seen me do it, & he called the cops. They told him there wasn't nothing they could do about that. So anyway he was double pissed off. He came out as I had just got loaded & was doing my bills. He came up casually & struck up a conversation about the situation with me. I knew I did wrong & admitted guilt to the guy. I tried to show him that I wasn't the only one using his back yard as a pivot point. At the same time I was feeling bad for the guy because I knew I did wrong. I asked him If I could fix his back yard up in a way where it would protect itself from other truckers like me, if that would please him. He said yes it would. I told him a local landscaping crew would be by within the next week & show him the plans. We shook hands & off he went with my name, phone number, Company I drove for & number to my Safety Director, & my drivers license number, just incase the landscaping crew didn't show up he would be able to file a damage report to his home insurance company with a police report. I contacted a local landscaping crew who was more than willing to help us out. They had a big mammoth rock that just found itself a new squatting place. Along with a few flowers & some sod, his back yard was appealing again. The old boy emailed a picture of the yard after it was complete. Looked pretty good. It cost me just a little over $1250.00 for using his back yard as a pivot point. I'm glad he didn't file charges on my dumb butt, & was happy to pay the bill.

Looks to me like yet another driver who found his CDL in a box of Cracker Jacks. I started driving professionally in 1972, no CDL's back then, you had to get a 'chauffeur license'. And it wasn't easy to get unless you really knew how to handle a big rig and could prove it. Seems now if you can sit in the seat and your feet reach the pedals and you can see over the steering wheel that's the only requirement. Common sense optional. Great job, Hal and Joe!

Yes thank you mr.hal ...what was he thinking ,as I was thinking to myself how in the world could I ever be that calm and understanding as you,. And a few other choice names 😜 you said it,you asked what all of us were thinking.HOW? It's got alot to do with territory a guy grew up, in India they don't have roads .decent roads . Have you ever watched those videos of big trucks over loaded and attempting to cross a bridge built out of plywood?🤪 And some actaully make it. Well they just don't have the same concerns as westerners, like private property, and road rules, everything is just go go go,and if you get stuck ,then all the villagers gather around and physically lift the truck out of the hole. And again, the surge on down the mud trail.so when they get to PAVED ROADS..,It's all gravy, and they figure what's alittle deviance from the raod to a nice flat piece of lawn..smh. And also along with the weight ,oh it's not heavy not much...it's all good what's the difference between 10 to 100? No problem. I'd like to add, drivers in the 50,s in the western world, had some pretty horrible accidents. I remember one guy, thought he could beat a freight train got stuck on the tracks and him nor his front end of the rig were seen again. It isn't that this just started happening,it's that we all have video cameras now,and there are thousands of more idiots on the road. I don't want to leave anybody out,it's not a race thing,it's just perspective, and then don't even get me going about the drugs ,truckers doing all sorts of crazy drugs. And having all sorts of shenanigans behind the wheel of the big Riggs ,and that's not a new thing. Well ,stay aware ,stay safe, and again It would get the better of me ,and I would have to point out just how incredibly ideotic these guys are...I'd need special training, councilling if I were a trucker , especially if I were a tow driver. Peace!

Mr.Hal, excellent re- covery by u & Joe. I think this driver was looking to get back on the road with out making the sharp turns as was shown The biggest thing was driving on and tearing up the lawn. He's very lucky that it wasn't a septic system in that area, or he and the t/t would have been in some deep Ka! Ka! You and your team stay safe out there gentlemen.

Mr. Hal things like this blow my mind. What in the world was he doing down there in the first place. Probably following his GPS.

Retired trucker here great tow truck work but as for the driver its time to find a new career. Cardinal rule don,t go on private property. If he worked for BWM all your work would comes out of his pocket the lawn repair too.

Mr Hal, great job you Joe did without adding to the yard damage, and you didn't even run over Grandma's yellow dog. When you looked into that drivers eyes, was there anybody home?

Also pretty disrespectful to drive across someone's property like that. Weather he speaks English or not, he knows this was wrong.

Cavalry trucking I agree. Thanks for watching and stay safe

Where in the heck was he going . He had no place to go any further forward. Thats probably what got him stuck is when he stopped and tried to back up and the truck sat still long enough to sink down some

LOL...... Hal, when you said that that driver can't drive very well I would say that was a pretty fair assumption given the spot he was in, frankly, I don't know how in the world he got his CDL.

Homeless Nomad Yes sir. I wish I filmed him leaving. He tried to make a right turn from the right side. Thanks for watching our older videos and stay safe.
