While the sun's heat and light are most visible to us, it has many other important capacities. What new facts did you learn about the sun's critical role in the solar system?

I agree. It's a lonely feeling, and I always had a fascination and interest with astronomy and the planets, and couldn't understand why this was forgotten by the masses of people...or how nobody cared. I believe this is overlooked. I also believe astronomy is tied with the ancient world and astrotheology. I believe I am getting more into this hobby, once again!

As much as I love learning about space it causes EXTREME panic attacks. When I think about everything that is out there and how it works we seem so small and pointless.
@CinemaAgricultural
@CinemaAgricultural 2 жыл бұрын
it doesn't make issues on your world pointless. Yes, they may seem small compared to the rest of the universe but that doesn't make it pointless. If it affects, you and your way of living then it matters even if in a universal scale it may seem small. remember you yourself are just as much a part of the universe as the planets, stars, nebulae and even galaxies are you matter.
@CrabJock
@CrabJock 2 жыл бұрын
I actually feel comforted by it when I'm having anxiety issues. It's strange how people take it so differently. I guess I just feel like, the size of the universe shows endless possibilities, and even so, we are related to all of those possibilities. Even aliens (if they exist) are made from the same universe we are. Everything is born from the same beginning. No matter how strange and complex things like us develop, it all boils down to the same basic minerals from the big bang. We are all connected in that way. So, imo, saying we are pointless and small is calling the universe the same. We're a tiny piece of it, but we are the universe. When you think of it that way, you don't feel so alone. Everything is born from the same head of a pin.

We know so much at this point in time. If person from the the year 1600 for example time traveled to 2023 and learned all this they’d be in disbelief. I’ve always had a strong interest in astronomy since being a child. Very fascinating stuff.

They are gods after all! Or so they believe and attempt to convince the world of this notion as well🙄 Modern scientism is a religion. Real science is up for debate.

Would be interesting to know how scientists discovered the six inner layers of the sun, and how they think they know it will run out of hydrogen in about 6,5 Billion years

@@larrystills6832 wouldn't be the first time. Science doesn't have the answer to everything, but a lot of scientists like to believe they do because they have 50% of the information. We humans don't know everything.
