This latest Sun God Panel is my favorite panel in One Piece right now. It is really really good. Nika is looking Funny, Cold, Super Strong and badass at the same time. I'm thinking of Sword and Shield is maybe a reference to Zoro & Sanji ( Maybe ) or Who knows, The original Nika was actuallly using sword and shield.

The world being destroyed two times over makes me think of my past theory that Nahua (Aztec/Mexica) cultures are the basis for the sun gods and the ancient civilizations that worshipped them There are strong visual connections to the sun god lore and Nahua visual motifs (the moon and shandora) And now, we see that the same sun god worshipped as a liberator is also the destroyer. In Nahua culture, the Teteotl that is the sun is eventually the one who will destroy it, there have been four suns prior to this one which were destroyed by earthquakes, flooding, jaguars, etc. One previous sun was Tlaloc (rain) but the current is Huitzilopochtli (war) which may have some influence on Elbaph's sun god

Void Century was the second time (200m water rise), the question is what in the world happened the first time, presumably way before the Ancient Kingdom and the Celestial Dragons? Could be a natural disaster (celestial body impact maybe) which led to the creation of the Ancient Kingdom.

What if Imu has all the devil fruit abilities. When Sabo used his flames to attack the Gorosei and Imu, he made a giant head to head it, similar to what Luffy did in his rematch against Lucci. He used the arrow attack, which is similar to Gunko’s attacks. We haven’t seen much else, but it’s a possibility at this point.

The Nika version of Elbaph maybe was a giant who was the previous awakened users of the Hito Hito no Mi way before Joy Boy. This Nika uses a sword and shield like most giants. Now maybe this Nika was a Destroyer instead of a Liberator and we know giants culture is based around battles and wars. My theory is that the Nika Who Whos mention was the original Nika (He doesn't have the haguromo? Scarf thing which is a indication of awakened fruit user). So far we have 3 confirmed Nika users..A Giant,Joy Boy and Luffy.

I think the gods knights will not have devil fruits, but be given powers from Imu. Maybe the same with the gorosei since their beast introductions didn’t have a devil fruit model. I think they “made a deal with the devil” and gained their powers and the use of the pentagram teleportation. Gunko’s ability looking just like IMU’s attack on Cobra. Getting interesting 🧐

Oda is going to reveal that in the future chapter when Luffy, Nami and Zoro reach the underworld to release Loki.
