Sun Haven is a blast. I love the rpg system mixed with the farming sim. And being able to shorten or lengten your days is so nice too.

Wish more KZbinrs got straight ot the point while showing a decent amount of content for smaller games like this. I dotn want ot sit through a 22 minute video for a game just to figure out if I want it or not. Great video!

Honestly when I clicked on this video, I was expecting you to have at the very least 10k+ subs. Your video style, voice and editing is really good for the size of your channel. Good review, I was on the fence of buying this and this helped plenty. Cheers

The game is on sale right now and your review helped me me make a decision i think i might pick this up over stardew! No offense to stardew lovers but it’s just very like bland looking 80% of the color is brown lol and visually i just wasn’t feeling it! So thank you!

Hiiii! Don't know if you're open to suggestions, but could you try and review the game Kynseed? It's also sort of a cozy rpg game with farming elements, would love to see your take on it. Sun Haven looks so good, I only wish the price was more affordable for me, since I'm not from the US yet Steam now only accepts payment on US dollars for me.

I have seen Kynseed and I think I might try it, seems right up my alley. Sun haven is in my top category for farming games. There’s so much content there. I’m sorry it’s not as affordable where you live. Maybe sometime in the future. 🥰 I’m definitely gonna check out kynseed too!

Sun haven is easily one of the top faves of gaming sims! And I’m sooo picky with farming sims, I blame Stardew 😂 but I adore it. I need to try My Time at Sandrock again.

@@LochVaness Yeah, SDV is one of those games that's so good it can ruin an entire genre for you. But I think Sun Haven did a great job of capturing a lot of what made Stardew so special. The characters are charming, the farming is addictive, and the fantasy setting is a nice change of pace. Roots of Pacha is another one that I'm really enjoying. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

@@sussychachi its really well done pretty smooth with what i remember, it acts off of the terraria method of chreate character and select world so you can move a single character from multiplqyer and single

The reason why you have an energy bar is so that their food recipes become relevant; otherwise, all the food recipes are really useless. And even with energy and health, most of the recipes in Stardew Valley are still pretty much useless.

Some of them give you benefits like extra mana or health points but it really just depends. But I kinda feel the same, they are useless but also fun to gather the ingredients to make them

@@LochVaness the meals only sell, normally doesn't worth it, some yeah ... its always better than sell direct product(fruits, forage etc..), but its really nice to get a 100 (the max amount which give bonus, but remember, normally get big amount until 10, after will be like 0.05 life mana

I think it's worth to mention that the game might not work very well on weaker computers. My laptop is pretty good, and I can play Stardew Valley perfectly. However, Sun Heaven is really slow on my computer and even crashes sometimes. That's why I get a little irritated. I tried to ask for refund on steam, but I had already 3 hours of gameplay only trying to play.

Ohh no. This breaks my heart! Were you able to lower the settings to get it to play at all? I know I have to do that sometimes with certain games. And this is such a great point I did not think of, thank you for pointing it out. 💜

@@LochVaness the only setting that is changeable, at least of my knowledge, is to desable shadows. It gets a little better but still lags. I think the graphics are heavier because there's a lot going on on the screen. But even so, the game's there and I might be able to play it with a better performance later on ☺️

@@LochVaness I finished the story and i can say it felt rushed and souless. Romance feels kinda empty. Even after you've married your spouse, they have no personalities like in stardew. The replayability is also almost non existent unlike StarDew Valley. I think i'm probably not going to replay this and just keep it dust in my steam library.
