I rarely ever comment, but honestly...this video just saved my future...my father came to America to try to achieve his American dream, but didn’t ultimately achieve it. My mom had to sacrifice her career to support my whole family financially, while my dad struggled to get his business off the ground, and we were always so disappointed in him. He was so stubborn in his determination to see his business succeed that when my mom and others would tell him to get a regular job, he wouldn’t do it. There were years where my dad barely worked and would act more like a home keeper hanging around the house, than attempting to be a breadwinner. My mom (still) has the tendency to constantly remind me how much I am like my dad, which bothers me so much because I was and still (sadly) am ashamed of my dad’s lack of success. I never had a deep connection with my dad, even though he is otherwise a sweet, angelic man. Truly. But I have still never yet forgiven him. And after watching this video, I realized that I also haven’t forgiven myself. Right now I’m unemployed, despite a great education (like my dad) and strive to be an entrepreneur (like my dad) but I know deep down that I also need to gain some more experience, yet I have been struggling to apply to jobs. I feel so free right now, after watching your video, you have no idea. I cannot put into words how profound your explanations and metaphors were to me. Well Tan I am 71 years old and this is the very best explanation of my sun in the 12th house ever . My mother died when I was 7 and left 6 children for my dad to bring up. He was never the same love dad I knew. He became alcoholic and just wasn't there any more. Even though I was only a child I knew the pain he was in. Unfortunately then I married an alcoholic, abusive and nasty. I have done a lot of care work because I've always wanted to help others. You're right about how my parents were struggling to have me back then. I am the last child and the only baby girl of my family. The age difference between my older brothers and I are somehow scary. I always in sick bed when I was young. They are overprotective towards me. All my life is great and comfortable. I always interest in astrology, conspiracy theories, or spiritual things. I know that it's been almost an year since you've posted this video but I can't help myself not to comment. I have the Sun in the 12th house Saggitarius, I'm 24 now. 10 days ago my father died. I can't describe how much truth you've spoken in this video, it is as if you knew my life. I am aware that my father (and his parents) didn't want me to be born, but eventually learnt how to love me from my mom. He's been present physically and financially but his emotions were never with me, at least when I was little. Now that I think about it, all my life has been spinning around him, his "present absence" if it makes sense. Been in therapy because of it. When I was around 16 I've made a decision (Capricorn rising, of course I'm the one with the decisions) to kick him out the house because I couldn't take it anymore. I was scared for mom but I can't say I really hated him. It was me (us) vs him and I knew in a way that we couldn't save him. Long story short he came back the next year. Fast forward, he died because of the excesses he made: obesity, borderline alcoholism, workaholism. I'm not saying these things to blame him, but I understand him. I put his life in perspective and feel pain and mercy for him. He was always caught between hammer and anvil, between his parents and us, his family. Watching your video I came to the conclusion that I am at least on the right path, no matter how slow I walk. Thank you for your insight.

Loved this video, thank you. You’re always so insightful! This very much describe my journey. My father is a narcissist. For the longest time I thought I could win his love. Realizing that this will never happen was devastating but at the same time freeing, because I know now it’s not personal. His trauma just became my trauma. It was a huge relief to forgive him because it meant forgiving myself as well. Being present is still a challenge at times, lots of things are challenging tbh, but I’m finally happy to work on it. I have Virgo sun in my 12th house (libra rising) and I feel like I’ve never really understood this placement no matter how much info I come across with info on it. My personal experience with my father was not so good growing up. Whenever things got tough with him and my mom, my dad (Sagittarius) would travel back to his home country for months on end. I guess traveling or escaping is his way of coping with difficult or stressful feelings. Even the times when he was around for the most part, it felt like he wasn’t really present and wished to be somewhere else. It feels good to come to a space where others can understand the difficulty of learning how to love yourself, forgive the father who wronged you, and not sacrifice yourself in the process. As someone with Sun in 12th House I can say that this was 100% spot on for me. Everything you said resonated a lot, and I've been unpacking it lately as I've gotten into my own birth chart. Alcoholic father, and wounds to do with worthiness etc. Also quite a private person and internalise a lot, devoting a lot of energy and time to my spirituality. It creates a sense of isolation as others don't know or wouldn't understand what Sun in 12th house people go through. Due to the placements part of my big mission in life is to learn how to define myself and master my material world (always struggled with mundane things and with time, money etc.). Sun in Pisces in the 12th house here. I have an amazing dad and loves him so much. He worked abroad all my young life and only saw him one month out of a year then he passed away shortly after he retired. I've always been very spiritual, even wanted to be a nun at some point when I was younger. There's just always this calling in my soul to be of service to people, to do something good. I found my calling being a nurse in the Intensive Care. I always need time alone to recharge, having space to just disappear inside my head is important for my mental health. 😊

My dad was in an accident and had to move to a rehabilitation center from the time I was 7-10. He’s now the closest person besides my daughter to me. My dad was always there for me but when my parents divorced after his accident (married 20 years) my faith in long term relationships disappeared. I never blamed him but I knew I could only depend on myself as a woman and never trust a man to support me. To this day, I feel my dad is the only man who will always be there for me. My relationship with my mother is neutral. She was kind of absent in my childhood days. I lived on another place from where she was. And now, were just still on a neutral level. I prefer her over my father. My relationship with my father from my childhood was pretty much a loving and fun bond. But as i grow up, I felt distance between me and him. My parents were indeed not expecting me, they were not aware of me when I was forming in my mother's woumb. I existed already but they didn't know it. My parents were both in a cult when I was born so instead of being with my mom in the hospital room while i was born, my father went to go see the cult leader speak. Because of this my name was spelled wrong on my birth certificate and I wasnt given a middle name (while all my siblings were). These were latent little wounds that had not actually come to the surface until i clicked play on your video. You have no idea how much I appreciate your interpretation. THE FIRST 5 minutes and I’m crying bc it’s true. i “caused a lot of problems” in terms of coming. I was in the hospital for a while since she forever me out of her. my mom wanted to get rid of me and then my father was an alcoholic. this is just wow.

My Sun is in the 12th house. All my life I have always had this “Neo” ego. Feeling like something is missing that im stuck in this matrix. Why was a born this way, why does everyone treat me so unfairly. Especially being a black woman and society that we are in right now. I dedicated my life to find out the history of what happened here on the planet that cause soooooo many people to hate the African American culture and other cultures as well. I grew upset in college becuase I learned that my father was not my real father and my family lied to me all these years. I grew so upset to find out that my real father is out there and I never met him and why he left me. Why all the secrets. My life is seriously a movie being played out and I try to escape it by isolating myself and working on my music. It’s crazy Becuase all of this is making so much sense now. My mom was around but she didn’t raise me out of love but out of tough love. Almost to the point where I had to raise myself. Thank God technology was around for me to find out how to connect with my spiritual self and how to learn more about my craft. I was alway called the “black sheep” of the family by my family members.

You should rename your channel to.. Tan Astrology and "Healing". This is literally my life story.. Father was distant as he didn't have a model for himself to be a father. Can be called a care taker instead. Never gave me confidence..nor did have confidence himself. I've been feeling like the whole relationship is a lie for quite sometime now..and thanks to your video..again I made peace with how they cannot be changed... And learnt how I should be moving on instead of being stuck in the patterns..I'm going to save this and watch it again to absorb the message 🙏 The part about fantasising good things is so true. At times I fear them becoming a mirage. Somewhere there's need to manifest the glory which one feels inside with this placement..I feel I need to help people identify their psychological traumas especially in children where they cannot express, because of my own childhood silent sufferings and disappointments..I want everyone with a hammered psyche to repair and see the beauty of the world. I do get preachy and philosophical in that process. But the pain I felt compels me to disseminate knowledge so that someone maybe saved by my wisdom in someway.. My parents had issues conceiving.. That part is right too.. And my sun is in libra😌.. double the damage.. But I can't at times help being mean. Given what was dished out to me.. And I find it exceedingly difficult to grapple with realistic goals and efforts..add to it this bringing down of self esteem by the paternal figure..a sure shot recipe for disaster.. but it's nice to hear you say this placement may also indicate someone legendary .. hopes!! Also tan..If you believe in past life karma.. What do you think gives someone such placements... And what could the soul lessons be..

Omg, that is my life. Well, that part of it. Father issues. Or, issues with treatment by father. As Pluto came out for a moment from the sign where it's been opposing my 12th house sun from since 2008, a huge section of the dynamic and dysfunctional structure of father relationship simply crumbled away without a wisp of a trace left. It had been building to an increasingly painful crescendo, I took an action to relieve the pain (with no recognition of the role my relationship with my late father was playing), and triggered an intensly painful episode that gave me major insight into my attitude about my attitude, so to speak, killed a deadly view I'd been holding of my dad, released both him and me from an aversive clinch, and is still teaching me. And did I mention, a dreadful pain gone, gone, gone. Now Pluto's gone back into Capricorn for another moment, and what I hope is the final support layer of the bad dad scenario is constantly showing itself to me. Because I have a long-standing meditation practice, now that you've painted the picture of the 12th house/father workings, I have high hopes for when Pluto goes back into Aquarius for good. I always had my sun in the 11th, but I never really resonated with it, but as I re did my astrology with the right time my sun is now in the 12th, which makes so much more sense to me. My moon is already influenced my Neptune 😭 but I’m still learning on what it means to have a 12th house sun and a lot of resonates, especially the ideology that we are being that are truly in imagination and that need to help others. My father cannot gauge who is right for him... He cheated on my mom and the one he's with now is using him for his money. I'm shamed by society for being a daughter of such a man. I'm angry cuz he emotionally abandoned me and at the same time, I wanna save him for his health is fragile and cuz I forgave and love him and that woman is no good for him. But he won't let me.
