Sun in the 12th House

I’m not sure if this is a 12th house thing (12th house sun in Leo here) but throughout my life I have had a terrible habit of not sticking up for myself when someone is blatantly rude to me or disrespectful in some way. I’m not a confrontational person, so I prefer to let things roll off my back and attribute it to “well that person is just an asshole and not worth the drama” but then later when I reflect back on it I think why on earth didn’t I just say something to defend myself? I’m 40 years old now and this has been a pattern since I was a child. I have a ton of inner strength and find I can weather any storm, but this tendency to not hold others accountable when necessary I think gives them the impression that I’m weak. Curious to know if any other 12th housers can relate.

Leo on the 12th house is like a double whammy coz the Sun is the natural ruler of Leo which is all about being seen, the king, in control and in charge, outward expression and attention, the ego, so if its in the 12th house all these positive aspects of Leo becomes almost hidden, diminished. The 12th house is the house of the shbconscious, the unseen and self-undoing. The typical Leo will confront and will let its feelings/thoughts known but the 12th house Sun placement makes you less willing to put yourself forward. I have a sun in Cancer in the 12th house, i literally hide inside my shell especially if its a confrontation though i also can snap when I've had enough. Its hard to find a good balance sometimes, Iam still learning this karmic lesson. spirituality is a main theme of the 12th house where it dissolves your ego to transcend your spirit closer to the divine. Tough lessons to learn in this incarnation but it gives us a certain toughness, mental and emotional fortitude coz we literally are Earth Angels. All the best in your journey.

It's sometimes because our energy lack boundaries and most of that stuff probably started in the home. My dad and mother knew no boundaries.. abuse on all levels was riddled in my house. Also there was time of goodness. Everything can be blurred with our very being like she said. We want to become one with almost everything, IN A spiritual sense. I am like 6'5 now and very muscular, so people don't mess with me that much, but do test me. As I kid, I didn't really stand up for myself but I would do it for others or just . Almost everything turned out good for me because I think a higher being or force is actually our father because no one who crossed me ever had a good ending. I am 40 as well. I personally think, we do live in a sinful world and God sent some children down to earth specifically to help heal. SUn in 12th house are healers and im not sure why astrologers don't just outright say that. We can arouse demons and actually hela them too. some dont wanna be saved. They will lash out be cause they want to stay shitty. That's my take.

Absolutely exhausting placement until the maturation process takes place and we learn to not give a fuck about what other people think. Balance is also key along with consistent and practical routine. I'm soon to be 28 and just now understanding how to put this all together, still a long way to go. Not a placement for the faint of heart you are basically given the magnifying glass by spirit to be able to see deeper and alot of the times what you aee is not pretty whether it's wordly, within others or within ourselves.

A natal (birth) chart is erected based on time of birth (you may be thinking of horoscope astrology which is based on sun sign only, and not personalized). You can plug in your date, time and location of birth to any website that generates free charts and determine what house your sun is in! (heads up, there are MANY different house systems and the default is Placidus on most sites. I use Whole Signs.)
