My Leo moon conjunct his sun-Venus and opposite his moon which conjuncts my Jupiter. I do feel a sense of protection and validation from him. He’s never ever dismissed or minimized my feelings. He really listens and tries to offer his best advice, which I always appreciate. Even when he has no advice, just the fact that he is like a container of my emotions makes me feel at ease and a sense of comfort. Our relationship in general is pretty even flow. Hardly any irritations or arguments, really. This might sound boring to some people, but at our age (late 30s) and after experiencing bad relationship before, this relationship we have is pure gold. We are both relaxed and let out guards down and just truly enjoy each other, our kids, and life in general. And lastly, I love your channel!

I'm currently crushing on a guy whos sun is in Leo conjunct my moon in leo. My moon also conjuncts his Venus and my Venus trines his moon 😅 sorry that's a lot of aspects to spit out. Anyway, thank you for sharing your experience and aspects. It gives me hope! That at the very least he and I will be good friends together

I think only this aspect can bring so much stability in a relationship. I had so many good synastry aspects with a guy but his moon squared my sun. He was never nurturing or appreciative of everything i did. I had to stroke his ego but the effort was never mutual. So i think that is very important if a man and woman has positive aspects be their sun and moon. Plus womans sun and mans moon in aspect is not a good feeling. I had it and Had to do everything he was at a receiving end.

Well, I would not give a final verdict based on any one aspect in synastry, but harmonious Sun-Moon definitely helps a lot, in relationship harmony. Just out of curiosity, with the man you say had his Moon conjunct your Sun, which were his Moon and your Moon signs?

omg, I know this comment is super old now, but I had this exact experience with a now ex-friend, where I was the sun in Leo and she was the moon in Scorpio that made the square. I always had the feeling that I would stroke her ego and praise her, but the effort was never mutual as well. I also have a Sagittarius moon which squared her Virgo sun, I don't remember if the orbs were close enough to make a proper square but nonetheless the signs do not get along. We actually had many other great and harmonious aspects together, and lots of Venusian synastry which is why I think we were friends for so long, but in the end it did not last probably because of the sun square moon double whammy. I found out she was secretly jealous of me and she copied me in everything. She was not a good person that wished on my downfall, and very judgey.

I'm glad you liked the video :) For the conjunction, if positions of two planets or points in Tropical are under 23 degrees and 40 minutes of arc, then they will both be in the same sign in Sidereal as well as in Tropical, so the conjunction is still there.

Great insight! But Aries has Mars in common with Scorpio. As an aries, I find this to create quite a dynamic bond between Aries and Scorpios.

From experience least favorite is OPPOSITION.. I’m sorry but every Virgo moon I met, I could not stand (besides my brother and that’s just because he’s my brother but my brother is a Pisces sun so he has that nice balance). I am not attracted to Virgo moons and there is 0 emotional validation. At least with squares it’s more chemistry and even if it ends there was a lot more that happened exciting. Now the best hands down is conjunction.. I ADORE Pisces moons and I feel that energy from them aswell sweetest souls and telepathic.. I feel spiritually supported. I am a libra moon and although I’m not romantically attracted to libra sun men I do get along with them VERY well and I carry their energy so I understand the way they act/think and why they do … your moon allows you to feel and process your emotions from that’s signs perceptive so it’s pretty cool. :)

I had sun moon conjuction in composite with someone. And everyone admired our relationship. But this man drained me, he would invalidate my feelings and call me a cry baby. i dont rem the composite chart well... I will have to go look back again. Currently am with someone who makes my life much more comfortable...maybe coz of moon venus connections.

My Moon is trine his Sun, his Moon is opposite my Sun. Overall I feel we're pretty complementary so far. I had my Moon quincunx the Sun of my ex....ooffff it's EXACTLY as you described it. I felt my needs and emotions were invalidated and never responded to or taken seriously or cared about. It became unbearable with time. And also very true about feeling like you can never quite fully know the person. I love how thoroughly you explain things 😊😇

As a Pisces sun I can’t stand Virgo moons. Energy might be nice in the beginning but I get fairly turned off by them over time. Like you said feelings also feel invalidated.

Even though the sun and moon easy aspects are comfortable, i think the hard aspects will keep the chemistry going...there is one guy with his sun and moon in vishaka conjuct to my moon in vishaka and we have always been very comfortable with each other and he was really into me and still is but over the course of time, i kept losing interest in him...on the other hand, another guy has his sun in shatabisha, squaring my moon and his sun also is quincox (sorry for my spelling mistake) to my sun in virgo and yeah we do keep getting distant sometimes and i get hurt by him alot (i never show it tho) but there is this tension always there, like we never lose interest and we always get fascinated by each other even tho we knew each other since we were kids, he is never harsh with me, he is very patient but i still always feel very emotionally insecure with him which I never feel with the sun in vishaka guy..at the same time i feel like to be more content i need attention from the sun in shatabisha guy...so psychologically speaking in that sense, good chemistry is toxic? Lol

Those aspects do add to compatibility, for sure. Most likely you have a Sun-Moon conjunction in the composite chart, too. But as usual, the full horoscopes must be analyzed for an in-depth understanding of the relationship.

You're the only source I've been able to find who has provided me with ANY clarity regarding the quincunx -- now I actually feel like I understand it! I just wanted to ask, do you consider the quincunx between the sun and the moon in the composite chart or just between the two charts? And if you do consider it in the composite, how does it play out? My guess is it indicates that the goals and the purpose of the relationship don't correspond with the partners' emotional needs?

The quincunx creates awkwardness in relationships, especially in the composite. It's not an easy flow of energy and compatibility. But it can create mutual fascination

About the Sun square Moon in composite chart, does the degree (orb) of the aspect matter?

it does in the sense that the tighter the orb, the stronger the effects. According to tropical, most astrologer won't take a square at over 10 degrees orb, but since I follow Vedic principles, I look at them based on signs, so the orb doesn't matter that much to me, because the signs are creating the square.

@@jenniferr9144 Hi, you are not bothering me :) According to Tropical Astrology, a conjunction between two planets exists when they are within 10 degrees or less from each other, regardless of sign. So for example, Sun in 29 degrees Aries and Moon in 7 degrees Taurus would make a conjunction, because they are 8 degrees apart. Some astrologers use tighter orbs, like 8 or less, even. But in Vedic Astrology-the one I use, two planets are conjunct if they are in the same sign, regardless of orb. So Sun in 29 degree Aries and Moon in 1 degree Aries are in conjunction. But the tighter the orb, the stronger the aspect is.
