Thank you for sharing your experience. As a rookie cruiser , I had made a bunch of plans concerning how I was going to "drink like a fish & eat like a pig" , neither of which happened. We did very much enjoy our time on-board Sun Princess. The food was amazing , the drinks were great, and the service was spectacular. The worst part of the entire cruise was when we had to leave. I am already looking at booking another cruise. ( probably when the house is done being built) . I can barely wait. Good job on the eating component of your cruise experience.

@cruisingwiththe4bs I really do think we are going to book another one with princess. I enjoy loyalty in the beginning and having been on the Sun, I feel like the bar is probably set high. I am sure you have been on a few different lines, which would you say is best or better than the Sun?

@@rtriplett3135 we loved Princess Sun, been on twice now and I think you do get a good all rounder with them. We love formality of Cunard, love the fun of MSC, P&O can be great value for money, Royal is great but pricey these days. I would say if like Princess maybe try some of there other ships, Star the sister ship is out next October?

Sabatinni's on the Regal Princess had the most amazing lasagna i've ever eaten. It was so good I don't even call other Lasagna by name anymore.....They had some kind of Arancini with Truffles that were like hush puppies kind of and they were fantastic. I enjoyed Sabatinni's more than I did the Steak Restaurant. The Smoked Salt though was amazing.

Good job, Angela. Wejust got back from Our first cruise on sun princess and it was spectacular. We ate at the horizons all of the time every evening. We were not disappointed. The food was great. The service was excellent. A couple of days in and the waiter knew our names and knew how we liked things. I do feel a little slighted in as much as I didn't eat and sample from everything that I wanted to. The plus category is definitely the way to go, if not premier.

Two questions: 1) Is the service included in the price at Teppanyaki (but also in other restaurants)? And also some drinks for those who don't have packages? 2) In the app (I will start the cruise on April 8th) I already see the price of O' Malley's ($14.99). What does this include?

Hi thanks for watching and commenting I wasn’t completely sure on this so consulted Chris and Sandra from this website, (check out its excellent)britsonaship.com. This was the answer: On 1) Yes - Princess adds an 18% service charge to all paid food and drink items and experiences, including specialty and casual dining. This would apply for guests who book with Princess Standard fares or those who pay a la carte outside of their package. 2) 14.99 at O'Malley's includes 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert
