I spent 45 years in a cockpit beginning as a pilot in the USAF and ending as an international airline Captain. Sunrises and sunsets combined with cloud layers and water features provided me with fantastic, beautiful, scenes throughout my many years of sitting in God’s front row seats. Not once did the thought of flying “OVER” the sun or “THROUGH” the sun cross our minds 😂😂. But often, we commented about how the beauty we were witnessing had to be divinely created.

Nothing weird with that: take your analog clock, take out the batteries and set the time to 11:59, then stick a long-ish bar at the top of the hours hand, perpendicular to it. If I say, "oh look, the building is getting closer now". That doesn't mean that the building is literally moving towards me. And no it does not go up and down. If it did, people in different parts of the world would see it change size. When the sun is setting for some people, it is sky high for others. This video proves that the sun hovering above the earth is not true, because light is coming from the side here, below the clouds. It makes sense on a globe, during sunset and sunrise light would come from the side. But on a flat earth, the sun would need to be way above where they are.

It's due to the rotation, take a flash light and globe if you don't know how it works. You forgot that the sun never sets in the flat earth model. At 0:58 seconds in, you can clearly see that the Sun is not only below the clouds and the airplane, but the further light in the background aligning with the horizon looks faded into the sky. As if you're seeing the light bouncing off the clouds, fading from the sun from where it was rising from, and watching it as it's coming towards you... If this were a global sunrise, it wouldn't look like this above the clouds. We'd be able to see the opening of the Lion King.

@FightWorldSlavery that honest eye would be not very bright thought. And not honest... And blind... But OK, let's say it's between 5 and 10 miles high. It illuminates an area of about 20.000 miles across. So for that to happen it'd need to be bright and big. After all people in a very far radius do still see it. So that honest eye would see it change size very greatly plus it's get blind from the intensity of the light (without having to look directly inside bit just from looking around). That honest eye also would be able to be on the same level with it (plus pretty close distance-wise) when on top of Everest (or other higher mountain). Yet all this never was observed or witnessed.
