It was a good time to make a sun shade canopy for the newly purchased used tractor recently.
Because I needed to protect the skin from the strong ultraviolet rays in the Northern California Sacramento Valley in very hot summer season.
Also, pre-made sunshade from the market did not fit on my compact tractor well and it was very expensive that I couldn't afford it.
Hopefully, this video help to someone who needs to make it DIY.
Thank you for watching

😉😉That is on the manual said and for the company protection. Not for me protecting from sun burn. Thanks for your comment.

@@jkk040 Um, no, drilling holes in the ROPS can be a bad idea. The shape of the tubing of the ROPS is what gives it its strength. If you drill holes, especially holes that big, in the ROPS it degrades the strength of the ROPS significantly. If you have a rollover, especially on a steep bank where significant force will be applied to the ROPS then *_THAT IS WHERE THE ROPS WILL FAIL._* It's your tractor, your ROPS and your life, you can do as you please as far as I'm concerned. They don't tell you not to drill holes in the ROPS "for the company protection" they tell you not to do that so that you don't weaken the only thing that will save your life if you roll that tractor down a bank. If you're more concerned about sunburn than the ROPS functionality, that's your call and you can certainly make it. I grew up on a farm long before tractors had ROPS and I'm not dead from a tractor rollover. I learned how to drive a tractor so that I didn't roll it over too. If you don't wear a seat belt, and very few of us do when operating a tractor, then the ROPS won't keep you from being thrown out of the seat and injured or killed anyway. Tractors are dangerous but like most things they're only as dangerous as the person operating them. I'm not telling you what to do but it's very irresponsible of you to tell people who may not have much experience operating a tractor that the only reason drilling holes in a ROPS is discouraged is because of liability fears by the manufacturer. That's just not true and you don't get a pass for saying it.
