My wife just had one of these given to her, minus the juicer attachments. It is awesome.

This guy's got nice fingernails and toned arms. LOL. I've got my mom's Sunbeam. It's a great machine and she made countless birthday cakes and other things with it. God bless her soul.

That's the lady helping me with the video. My own Mom used to do the same things with her old Sunbeam, then my dad burned out the motor making fudge.

Nice mixer and attachments! These are my favorite probably. The spin button on the beater with the round and square beater setup to hug the curve of the bowl was genius. I have a later model from the 70s as well as a modern red one.

Cool, thanks! Sunbeam really did their research on the spin button drive.

Thank you for sharing. I have this very Sunbeam mixmaster inherited from my mother. She used it well. I also do have the juicer attachment. However while it does still run, it requires cleaning and servicing. I am from Malaysia and there is no one who can do this now. I recently found a blender attachment which on its cover states ‘Sunbeam Mixmaster Blender’. Just wondering if this is an attachment meant to be used with the mixer.

Are you in Malaysia or here in the states? I know that in Malaysia, they have shops that repair electric fans. Maybe a place like that could help or a vacuum repair place here.

The batter moves the bowl, The speed button on bottom of beater keeps the bowl from spinning too fast .The older mixers did not have that feature and the bowl would turn so fast that batter would rise up on the side of bowl . You would have to slow bowl down with your hand .

I am trying to find a replacement resistor for my mother's vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 10. I am asking everyone this question and having no luck finding the answer. Do you have any guidance on how many ohms the resistor is - apparently I need to know that to get a replacement resistor.

You might try Vintage Mixers and More. He has a KZbin channel - kzbin.info/door/gdDIUT_G3FPxiAHsKkNBnA The part you need is unique to these mixers. You could also try looking for a local old school appliance repair shop, but they can be tricky to find these days. Hope this helps.

Try Steven Lynch at Kitchen Salvage LLC. He refurbishes and restores these great machines and can be reached throught ETSY. He's in Montana.

I have a model9 and I can't get the beaters out. I'm sure it sat for some time before I got it. Is there a button to push or are they supposed to eject when you put the handle to the side?
@DBVintage3 жыл бұрын
I know that on my mixer the beaters eject when you put the handle to the side. I’m not sure of any buttons that would be post on different models.
@jimmyjimmy197020103 жыл бұрын
You eject the beaters of a model 9 than same way as the model 10-12
@menz7369 Жыл бұрын
@@jimmyjimmy19702010 you mean the beaters for 12 v, are the same? So they are standar for all of them? Or is just the way to eject Y need a 10 beaters urgent

That's a better juicer design Kitchenaid. Also the part you called an auger is actually called a reamer.

Those could be tricky to find. I got lucky finding this one as an intact unit. About the only suggestion I’ve got is eBay or Facebook marketplace or one of those sales sites.
