On the first meld I did, I got Evade Extender 3, Recovery 2, 2 lv 2 slots and 1 lv 1 slot. I just stopped melding after that. As someone who slot evade extender on all my builds, this is probably the best I will ever get.

I remember farming Zinogre "Wrath of thunder descends" event quest nearly 800 times just for decos in Iceborne... Totally hated it. But when I look at the talisman skill level and slots... I wish deco farming is a thing again and won't mind or complain farming for it for another 800 times.

Not having guaranteed decos harms more build making than RIse system. You can make exxtremely strong end game builds with any talisman with 2x Lv2 Slots, which isn't crazy rng, but god help you to get all the appropriate decorations to fit your builds in World. If they're gonna give me one RNG, i'd take the talisman everyday.

Most MR armor in the game is good as it is, so many full sets. Honestly just want good utility ones with wirebug whisper and spiribird caller with some manner of slots, or a full redirect. It helps open slots in builds.

I'm still gonna meld but I doubt I'll get much of use. In base rise I got 2 fantastic talismans. One with 3 crit eye, a 3 slot and a 1 slot. The other(what I'm currently using) has 3 attack, a 2 slot and a 1 slot.

I am curious if they ever fixed the save load exploit that was used in base rise. The only real way to make the system better is to increase the odds of getting a good one, but with all the skill variety, that doesn't seem feasible. Good work on another great video. HR mats don't work for MR melding. The only thing that carries over are friend vouchers.

Quick Tips to MUST know for melding glitch, if you know of it: (I did this last night) If you want a talisman but rest are bad. Hypothetically if it’s 5th in the 1rst row of return box when u exit out to craft the batch prior to arena create 5 talismans to get that one when u return. If it’s further let’s say 7th in the row instant meld 5 then reg meld 2 & head to the arena. Also check cohoot nest after 4 arenas Check argosy for rare ore trade, Check meow-cenaries Best to Save melding pudding, wait til MR 6 so you can unlock anima melding. (Rarity 8,9,10) (Plz upvote so others can see)

i got a 5 slot talisman for my build pretty early, qs2 wirebugwhisper2, 2-0-0. been straight garbage ever since haha. i'll keep doing it (what else am i going to do with the parts), but not likely i'm going to find anything better for quite a long time. also, thank god they added the lock feature, was a nightmare before. i'm hoping they put in something like in base rise where you can select a skill that has a higher chance of appearing using parts of some endgame monster (maybe the last level of anomaly monsters, so you have some selection). not likely, but it would be nice just to tame that pure rng a little, particularly with so many modded talismans in the pc version.

What I noticed is that 4 Slot are only on Rarity 10 talismans. And I have few of them with good Skills. And the one I'm using is 4 slot, Recovery Up 2, Spiritbird's Call And Slot 4 is great, as I can put there Bow Charge Plus, so I don't have to wear Mighty Bow Feather. And I can have good helmet with good skills

Got a 2 WEX 2 Evade Extender, but no slots :( I'm sitll using it because it helps me hit 3 WEX easily, at the cost of a potential slot or two, but I'll take it. Am using it with the Kamura hammer, which has a 4/2 on it with a 2 Rampage Slot and it has purple sharpness. That weapon is so sneaky good.

It's only mildly painful that I have yet to find a better longsword styled talisman than what I've had since like week 3 of Rise. Having 2 quicksheathe 2 speed eating and a 2-2-1 is just phenomenal for the build and let's me run some crazy shit armor wise. Although I've gotten an honorable mention of Foray 2 2-1-0 for my foray based LS build. I hope and pray for a foray quicksheath talisman

i mean there as a charm editor mod, that you can make/change charms to what you want. there's also a spreadsheet somewhere with the skill level limits for legal charms. i suppose some people would judge you, but the vast majority of people dont check what equipment others have, and if you dont tell them you modded it, they probably wont know. I really think you should just mod it, if you'll get more enjoyment out of it. you bought the game, you enjoy it how you want, just not at the expense of others. which is prevented by the game automatically checking for legal talismans, in this case

I was an idiot. A stupid stupid idiot. Started casually farming Talismans today and I got a Wex 2 Attack Boost 2 2 1 slot talisman. I was so excited but I was a fool. I wanted to save my Jelly. It was one of the first ones I got so I only needed to use a few pudding to get it so I reset to get it but i forgot to save before making the melds which put me in a different bracket. Now I'm just stewing in my foolish foolishness.

I'm kinda thinking that they aren't ment to be a " better " version of already existing talismans; or if anything god roll 7s are only going to be outclassed by God roll 10s, but 8 or 9 might be on par. really need to wait and see what the data mine says but I'm thinking there's going to be a lot of people out there that just threw away old god roll 7s thinking they will be outpaced massively by just 8s or 9s.

This is the main thing i disliked about rise was it reverting back to 1/4000 billion chance for a melded charm thats really good. If anything they need to ditch this meld mechanic. Melding decorations was rng but had a smaller pool and doesn't have the randomized variation of skills/ level of skill , number of slots that charms has. At least a decoration is fixed skills and the rng pool seems smaller. This is what kills end game for me. Being more in control of crafting the charm was better and you target specific monsters even if it was a rare drop monster part it WILL eventually drop to get what you want.

I personally am hesitant to spend everything on the melding. It is only up to rarity 10 currently I have a good hunch they are going to bump up to rarity 11 and then to 12 in the future updates.

Is anybody else struggling in sunbreak? Ive beaten the story and im going back and fighting some of the monsters I missed and im getting my butt handed to me. I have final full final boss armor maxed out and still get two shot by Zinorge. Another thing I see going on is the monsters will feint to the left or right or just jump behind me constantly.

That's G rank my dude - welcome to it. Prepare to get 2-3 shot for the rest of the game honestly unless you spec hard into defense boost. That's kinda the balancing factor for endgame as the builds start to be so good that it wouldn't be a challenge without some heavy damage coming your way.

Having a Level 7 defense boost (+4 and +3 jewels) with armour sat at around 124 rating each... I'm taking around 4+ hits from monsters general attacks. Problem is, that's 2 slots used on defense and not on things like Crit Eye. Stronger hits like Malzeno's tail stab can still chunk me for 65% though, so unless you go full defensive builds then you better be good at staying away from a monsters hit zones in MR ☠️ If you're getting your butt handed to you, it might be worthwhile sitting back and letting a monster swing at you for a while. Especially in MR, monsters you're used to will have bonus attacks or combo designed to catch you off guard. So spending a couple hunts just dodging a monster and finding safe spots, can let you play more aggressively when you're comfortable with them.... that's, if you have the patience of course 😬
