I think at the June direct we finally do get WW & TP HD. I think there is also a decent chance of a 2d zelda remake. Link between worlds seems like a good candidate for that to me.

They have been teasing windwaker and twilight princess for several years with thousands of rumors, granted when paper Mario TTYD was teased last year and maybe the year before that, Nintendo did finally announce it late last year with it coming out in less than two weeks, maybe I could be wrong but only time will tell

Or the possible Zelda game is merely a Tears of the Kingdom DLC that adds an additional campaign where we get to play as Zelda. That'd be the easiest path to take for Nintendo since their TotK Pipeline is probably still setup and it is easier to make DLC than it is to build a whole new game.

I think it be cool to play within a legend of zelda game but from Zelda’s perspective, like we play as her during the events of like Ocarina of time, breath of the wild, skyward sword etc we can see what she has doing while Link is doing what he does best. That way if Nintendo wants to test the waters with this, this could be a 20-30$ game with like a 8 hour campaign and if it does well, maybe on switch 2 we can get a full length. i think that would AWESOME.

This is what I would personally love to see as a Zelda spinoff The Legend of Zelda: Way of the Sheikah Takes place in Ocarina of Time during the 7 year gap where Link gets sealed in the Sacred Realm. As Princess Zelda, you will train your way through the trials of the Sheikah, learning techniques and powers to ultimately become Shiek and reunite with Link near the end of Ocarina of Time.

40th anniversary Zelda 2026, the original Zelda and Zelda 2 gets the Links Awakening treatment. 2024 Holiday season gets Ocarina Of Time / Twilight Princess remaster. Zelda game featuring Princess Zelda out in 2025 features Zelda trying to saving Link introducing players to her special powers and story

I would love to see either two things: 1) a game with Zelda as the main character when she’s transported to the past in Hyrule and follows the Zelda game structure with dungeons, etc. 2) a Hyrule warriors game set in the time of the Zonai with Zelda as the main character. Im praying its windwaker because i didnt have a gamecube after the n64 i asked for a ps2 and jjst lt about nintendo and years and years later into adult hood my friend at the time loaned me his game cube woth windwaker and even though i didnt beat it i adored that game, i love oot but i played it so much that i would be happy with windwaker or twilight princess since i only played that for a short time. Imagine Nintendo is working on a OoT remake for years behind the doors just to release it as a launch title for the Switch 2 lol well, I can keep dreaming, can't it? Still, they could port the 3Ds remakes of OoT and MM to the Switch, it would make an amazing addition to the system's library. TP and WW ports could be the last releases for the old Switch model towards the end of the year. Just a thought.

I am hoping it’s not a 2D, would be great to have something epic and open world, from Zelda’s perspective. There are already 2 Hyrule Warriors games, and it would make sense that TOTK would get one, but I hope not. OOT remake would be lovely, or Windwaker/ Twilght Princess. I've been waiting and hoping The Legend of Zelda The Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD Ports that long time I've been thinking do we really need those, because in my opinion The Windwaker and Twilight Princess HD games looks a surprisilly good on the Nintendo Wii U, but yes of corse it would be awesome to see those games coming to the Nintendo Switch too finally after a long waiting. But a whole new Zelda game would be great to see too, I remember the Fanmade Studio Ghibli animated Zelda game's trailer what would be so nice! I just wanna say it’s nice that you talk about what Nintendo could be bringing for the next Zelda game for switch rather than just Switch 2 related content like most channels I’m not more comfortable with switch 2 talk now that Nintendo is officially announced that there will be a successor to the current switch.

It most likely will be twilight princess I think since they just rereleased the wolf link amiibo. No other reason to release that amiibo since you cant upgrade wolf link for Zelda botw without that game and I’m sure no one is playing it on Nintendo Wii.

The Zelda as the star game should be called The Legend of Link, and unlike Zelda but still very similar it should be a Fantasy-Action-RPG whereas the main Zelda games are Fantasy-Action-Adventure. That is I want to start a new series and hire many so both series can be made often. . Also The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time Metacritic score probably does for the Zelda series something no ad can match, it tells many potential players these games are truly good maybe even better than any other series.
