lets be real even the most diehard kingdom hearts fan can admit all of them were too easy. Proud in KH3 was like normal in other games. I literally played some old KH games a few weeks ago and proud mode was stupid difficult while i 1 shotted the majority of encounters in kh3. Still had a lot of fun playing the game it just needs to be harder or add critical mode.

IIRC legal reasons and copyright headaches are why no FF characters appear in the game, outside of a few nods, like in Twilight Town when they talk about Seifer taking Fujin and Raijin to train, the Cactaur, the leviathan ship, and the constellations. Disney owns *all* of the Kingdom Hearts characters now, not Square Enix, so it must of just been easier on them to omit FF characters all together.

Sora, but a replica of Roxas that's one of another vessel of Xehanort were supposed to be forgotten. Ventus The boy who was possessed by the main antagonist for a decade, That was saved by A character with ridiculous motives which was Xehanort vessel, and splitted in two parts that caused Darkness to came back to this world. The girl who saved her friends, but got possessed by the darkness at least she isn't now. A Mouse Keyblade master. The Girl who lost her memories with little to no character development that somehow wield a Keyblade. The boy who fell into darkness who's now suddenly became a Keyblade master. Burn Baby Boi. Quack Quack, I'm really useful in KH3. Hyuck, The smartest dude in KH but so dumb in it's cartoon series

Have you played on normal or proud? I'm playing on proud and I just finished pirate world and it's super easy. The only times I've died was because I was looking at my cellphone while fighting some trash mobs early in olympus. What made the final fight so hard was the fact that it was like 3 boss fights one after the other. The 13, then Armored Xehanort, then real Xehanort. Shit was insane. I was getting tired of constantly dodging to heal myself with magic heals cause I ran out of Hi-potions and elixirs. lol

"Heartless Slime Monster"? The Lump of Horror is an Unversed! There's a difference between Heartless and Unversed, y'know. Also, in my Opinion, the Unversed get horrendously underused in this Game. The Nobodies though, because Flowernort (Marluxia) and Anntennanort (Larxene), make a return, we get New Lesser Elite Nobodies in the form of the Reapers (Marluxia's Underlings) and the Ninjas (Larxene's Underlings), but the Unversed got the Short end of the Stick with this Game! The only Classic Unversed to make a comeback are the Floods, while the only new Unversed we get in this game are the Flower Snakes, the Turtle Toads, and the Aforementioned Lump of Horror! If you ask me, the Unversed being Underused in this Game is one of my Least Favorite things about Kingdom Hearts III. Also, the Boss at 12:50 is a Demon Tide, not a Tower.

Dark Inferno took me two 15 minute attempts to beat, and I just learned that Hero’s Origin is stellar for blocking the dark fire orbs and counter attacking. Not as deep or hard as Lingering Will but still a challenging fight nonetheless.

Learned his patterns and did no damage w/restrictions (only raw combos) in under two hours of first meeting him. He's incredibly easy. The trick is the exact same as 2FM Terra. Just learn his patterns.

18:50 you can just block the white orbs, they’re one of his easiest to avoid moves until his red phase, where he’s still there, but even then once u enter the invincibility frames of blocking, it’s fine.

Not gonna lie, Xehanort was the first boss that I used Guard on........ I pretty much simply flew, rolled, or dodged every other bosses attacks. Doesn't work that well on Xehanort when he is teleportation though. Also painfully annoying that you can't block very well in the air. =/. The delay between moving and blocking is so huge............ I played on proud mode and mostly used the shooting star keyblade. Just attack from range and watch as your enemies cry (Doesn't work well on teleportation enemies). I spammed square a lot...... You can roll through everything except his fire attack I believe. Phase 3 might require you to block, not sure. I think you can still roll through it. When he turned me to rage mode I just spammed dodge till I could attack. A lot of timing on that fight for sure.

It could be for some of the game with trash enemies, and a couple bosses, but a lot of the higher leveled bosses needed to be evaded, and have to have their attacks studied. How many people beat Roxas first shot by button Mashing? Or Sephiroth, Terra, or any of the Orginization XIII members? Some fights need to be analyzed to find the best way to approach them. KH3 is JUST button mashing, start to finish.

Its because of the insane amount of combat mechanics at your disposal. Never had this much variety in a KH game. I think in critical mode the attractions, links, and form changes should be dialed down a lot. For bosses attractions shouldn’t be usable at all.

The game is fairly easy due to it throwing win commands at you all the time. While I'm not going to say "just don't use attractions or transformations" I would recommend ignoring them for a less boring playthrough. I pretty much avoided using them as soon as I realized they change the music back to the KH1 traverse town battle theme because I personally find that theme annoying as hell. The lack of crit is something as well, but KH2 didn't have crit until an FM came out and the FM took time because they took data from proud mode to see the best way to balance it. I would just be patient and assume they'll do the same thing with KH3 and if not the that really fucking sucks because everyone knows crit is the best difficulty.

By the time I decided to fight Dark Inferno I was already at lvl 99. Needless to say it was shockingly easier than I expected. Of course as I stated I was also at lvl 99. Good list. I especially loved the games ability to lock onto the weakest enemy nearest the boss I was trying to aim at.

Alright so here’s my story about an encounter with the secret boss. I had heard that having the Ultima keyblade makes it ridiculously easy but didn’t believe it. So I did it with the kingdom key just to get a feel of the boss. I didn’t look up any mechanics and was able to whittle him down to 3 bars on my first try. Afterwards I got the Ultima weapon( horrible grind btw) . It was late at night around 3 am and I was having a hard time sleeping. So I thought hey what not give it another shot with the Ultima . So I did without looking up fight mechanics I just spammed x and won. This would never happen with sephiroth ever EVER I’m not angry about the difficulty in KH 3 I love easy games especially because I really only bought this specific one for the story but once again I can see why people are upset

I think why you can see the problem, even if you don't feel terribly affected by it, is because previously bosses had a variety of attacks that not only made them more challenging, but also gave them personality. You'll never forget Sephiroth setting your HP and MP to zero, while disabling item usage, while shoving meteors down your throat. Or Lingering Will running over you in his keyblade hover bike, shredding you in his whip vortex, then blowing you up with an Ultima Cannon shotlock. Or how they and many of the bosses in 2 had their own Desperation Move when you pushed them too hard. Dark Inferno just has his very similar combos that change color as he changes phases and his counter attacks. There is a lack of difficulty, but the real problem is that there's a sheer lack of thoughtful design.

@18:53 one handy thing with the white orb attack is that when he disappears (he sometimes doesn’t in his last phase, so watch) he will always be vulnerable for a good moment when he reappears, and he always reappears exactly where he disappears, so it’s easy to exploit if you can withstand/avoid the orb attack

I'm glad i'm not the only one who mainly used Wheel of Fate once I got it. I almost suspected the 13 Seekers fight would be high up since I had the feeling on higher difficulties they'd just utterly ruin your life with that laser shower and the combo they do, but I guess Armoured Xehanort counted for that so fair enough. Also yes, I did find out you can guard in the air, it really helps during the final boss but I don't think you can do it twice, messes with your timing a bit.

If by 13 seekers, you mean the mysterious adversaries, they have an easy trick, at the start, run back left to the first spawn, spam aeroga as soon as they appear, when they're clustered, this should kill the majority of them, and leave the rest really low on hp

I got the Ultima Weapon before entering the final boss area, you can get the last orichalcum plus after The Final World, and it allows you to bully everything with it's transformation, and the finisher is broken along with the shotlock.

The tangled key blade is definitely the best because of the smaller sho tlock that will give you hp while your mp is down. Also the mirage staff finisher ability is amazing for countering his red stance combos because it lasts so long. I was able to beat him literally as soon as I got the whatever they're calling once more and second chance with a magic build. He's immune to fire damage and water doesn't really shield that well imo. I think I was like level 44 or something like that, on proud mode. Hope this helps anyone who struggled.
