I love how our beloved prof. Raj Somadewa always tries to relate current issues and characters to lessons from history. This is exactly what should happen. We should learn from our past. But our Sri Lankan majority just don’t understand these facts or our professors hints. 😉 Anyway, Nuwan, professor and the rest of the team are doing an absolutely amazing job. Keep up the great work. I wish you all the very best. ❤️👌🏽🙏🏽 - Harsha
Thank You both Nuwan and Prof. Somadava, for a very interesting programme. I particularly enjoyed the part in which you explained the development of human speech and language. It was nearly fifty years since I had to dissect a cadaver in the anatomy block down Francis Road Colombo 8. We had to surface mark the motor cortex, sensory cortex, Broca's area, and Wernicke's area, among other areas in the human brain, before performing sagittal sections to explore the insides under the keen supervision of Prof Leicester Jayawardene. Theories on human speech and language have come a long way since then. Thank you for taking the time to explain several complex evolutionary developments without resorting to technical Jargon. I thought I must congratulate you on a job well done. Ranjith Ganepola
Thanks Dr. Somadeva and Nuwan for today's Episode also which broadens our knowledge as always. I have a question about Cats. It was said by Dr. Somadeva that the cats were first domesticated by Pharaohs in Egypt some 3,000-4,000 years ago as pets. I have also heard that cats were also treated as God's in ancient Egypt. Appreciate if Dr. Somadeva could give some explanation regarding this please. Thanks. Ajith Jayasekera from NSW, Australia.
