Sundance Head Cries, Says He 'Saw the Light' After Shooting Accident (Exclusive)

Sundance Head and his wife, Misty, open up to ET's Denny Directo about his near-death gun accident. The season 11 winner of 'The Voice' details the moments leading up to and following accidentally shooting himself in the stomach during a hunting trip. Sundance emotionally recalls how he 'saw the light' and tried to reach Misty to tell her he loved her. I have known those two for a good part of my life and they have been thru so much and still stand of faith and with each other. Floods, failures, deaths, caring for dying family members, touring non stop to try to keep the drean alive, I am so glad he is ok. After everything that family has been thru, the ups and the downs, they both just keep smiling and pushing through. I have a feeling his next album is gonna be the best one yet. He is an amazing vocalist, and his wife for the longest time handled the business side of his career, while raising kids that have very active lives outside of school with sports and ffa and all kinds of other stuff, and they are both there unless he is touring. They raised those babies right too,well mannered and with big dreams of their own. Great people,really great to their friends and family and would give you the socks off their feet if you really needed them. They deserve the best, and are obviously being blessed with him being ok for a reason. He still has work to do in this life. ❤

Even the most well trained armsman still make mistakes. We are human. So you statement of opinion, whike it is that, your opinion, holds no merit. This could have happened to anyone. I know for a FACT tha Sunda ce has been handling guns and hunting since he was young and he knows what he is doing, this was simply an accident. Mistakes were made, things could and should have been done a little differently, but this was a freak accident and the odds of his pistol hitting the jeep just right to fire, and then firing in his direction, well, the odds of him winning. The lottery are better than the odds of this happening were. So no, I cannot agree with a baseless statement like that, for a multitude of reasons.
