At eighty eight years of age my eye sight and hearing ability has decreased. Thankyou for all that you do for all of us in HIS SON JESUS'S NAME.., Please pray for my 32 year old very addicted grandson Michael who also is bi polar...He is so heartbroken due to his 11 year old daughter not being allowed in his life...He is now stranded across the country in Vancouver,Washington State... He was traveling with a fella who owned the tractor trailer cab and working for him ..He and the fella were on the road for a month and Michael as always ended up leaving the truck ...Thank GOD for Alanon and A.A. which is helping our family to deal with what ever will be....He is in God's hands and God only knows Michael's journey....God has saved his life so many times already and that we are all so greatful for... Our family loves watching your masses...GOD BLESS YOU ❤

Fr. Dave I agree, we are made to work. People often mistake all work as something to dislike, for lack of a better word. I love to garden, it relaxes me and I do like thr fruits of this labor. My daughter recently told me, you like to take of things and people. I never thought of myself this way. But I am a nurse and it is my job and I view this as work . At the same time this job is taking care of people. Just a thought. The young man you spoke of regarding last meal is spot on! Although before that I would rather enjoy Maine lobster, Dungeness crab, pizza (Not hawaiian) and ice cream😅

Hoping you have time to visit these homes. It took my brother and I six months of visiting different houses to find the right fit for our severely autistic sister after our parents fell ill and passed away. There was no doubt the Lord helped us along the way. We found a suitable home close by our brother who was able to check in frequently. May God bless you in your search.🙏

As a vicar of the holy spirit catholic church ⛪️ in Sharon hill Pennsylvania. That was closed. Now when at mass I'm a traveling vicar.. a/cleaning up the church ⛪️ B/ helping with the ministry ⛪️.... Yesterday doing my job at mass with father Dave..in line at the confessional a man asked he forgot the words to say.. so I helped him thru it...afterwards I was praying 🙏 for this distraught man. He came over to me and thanked me.. he told me of his addiction and he had a relapse his family wanted nothing more to do with him. I immediately thought of father Dave to help him with Lil flower power. So I told him to tell this holy man father Dave..he did... ( it took him a lot to get there it will take a lot to heal him but it's not over) he was crying after talking to father Dave he has that effect on a lot of people... love will make you cry. I saw a definite change in this man... let's all of us keep him in our prayers 🙏 💙 🙏 🙏 🌹 ✝️ 🌹 🙏

A very nice mass. I want to thank you again for the last mass with that marvelous statement and reminder, "Only God is God" and "Only the Devil is rhe Devil". I'm still struggling a little with everything, but that statement does help and makes me remember certain relatively good stuff as well. Still pray for things to go well though of course. Also, my grandma is back home with the docs keeping an eye on her. Thanks for prayers. Also, I am taking classes for Technical Writing and making plans for my future as one. Yes, I am a retired nurse, and you are right, we must keep on going, working now not for a salary, but work for the Lord, as he feeds us in our work world, and when we retire, he continues to feed us. Never stop working for the Lord, not matter what age. I continue working as a retired nurse and run a Bereavement Ministry for the parish and for the diocese, and the Lord feeds me so I can continue his work on earth. Rest, Fr. Dave, in Alaska, renew your strength, converse with the Lord, and enjoy your music time, and your creative juices for your radio comedy. Our Lord enjoys a good laugh now and then. Safe trip, and Sing to the Lord!

Prayers for a safe trip to Alaska Father Dave. I'm a recently retired nurse. I wanted to be a physed teacher, but I got a job at a local nursing home doing patient care. I was young and had no idea how to care for an elderly person in a wheelchair, some with dementia who would fight and hit us. The other aides were older, mostly Jamaican and they had a great time teasing me. I wanted to quit, but my dad encouraged me to stick it out. Thank God he did, because becoming a nurse was my calling. I enjoyed years of working at a hospital and caring for hospice patients. I have witnessed some things with the latter that increased my faith in God and the promise of Heaven. God bless you all
