You both are such good company and I love every video. I would be sad if, understandably, you decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. I know how much work it takes to put out a video. I turned my hobby into my job and for over 20 years it still doesn't feel like work. My love for books led me to start an internet second-hand bookstore in 2002. I enjoy working from home and although I don't earn a large salary (around 1000 euros per month), I can make a good living. And the great thing is that the low income and working from home have forced me to make things myself. And that has led to another hobby: growing vegetables at home. I have transformed one bedroom that I never used into a vegetable room. This year I grew all my peppers, lettuce, spinach and zucchini there for the first time. And in my tiny garden of 3x4 meters I grew tomatoes in pots and plastic containers. I bought a food dehydrator and use the tomatoes, for example, to make powders and various sauce powders. And this winter I'm going to start making my own clothes. Since I work from home, it doesn't really matter in the beginning if things go a little wrong now and then :-)

I agree that hobbies and interests should not always be about earning money and I would like it if people could earn enough at their regular job to sufficiently meet their living costs and needs. It is sad that everything seems to be reduced to chasing the almighty dollar and that people need to supplement. It will get to a stage where nobody will be prepared to do anything much for free. .......Also, I really enjoy your KZbin content and I hope that KZbin comes to it's senses and pays content providers properly again. ...Things would be so different if I was in charge of everything.!!!..Ha Ha ...

Hi. We’ve had rain here in South Cumbria every day for over a week or more. Feels longer. Some days really heavy picking up the edge of hurricane Ernesto and full storm Lillian. Lots of trees down and flooded roads. Need a bit of dry warmer weather. The wind has made it feel about 5 degrees C. Feel sorry for holiday makers up here for the bank holiday. Everything behind at the veg plot as well. Went to our local horticultural show yesterday and number of exhibits right down. Not surprised.

Wow Richard you look fabulous!! Great cut, takes years off. Whilst you are now looking 29, Paul is looking about 12 with his beautiful cheeky boyish smile. You are both looking as gorgeous as ever❤️ Am just back from London, ( regularly visit my old stomping ground) and it was quite emotional in a nostalgic kind of way. Went to a great gig up at Ally Pally, Norman Jay, and the virtual absence of mobile phones was amazing, wicked vibe, outdoor, little old school pick me up 🙂👌Mostly over 50s, fantastic 😂 Spent Monday afternoon at Notting Hill carnival and then a day of rest before indulging in a whole day floating round my favourite place - Camden Lock, on my own. Bliss! Grabbed a lovely pair of cotton baggy pants for €15 and a yummy waffle from the street food alley. Weather was great apart from Wednesday and managed to bring the fine weather back home to the West coast of Ireland with me 😊 Happy days. Serious work to do in my garden tomorrow as the forecast promises rain tomorrow night, hope my back holds up 😐 😂 xx

When I watch KZbin I have about six people that I follow regularly because most of the other input is mostly rubbish trying to lure viewers to watch them with click bate. Love the haircut Richard. I saw it on your blog yesterday. If you sprinkle cayenne pepper powder on the lawn and around your flowers the squirrels won't mess with them. They don't like hot . It won't hurt them. I do it to keep them off my seedlings.

I've spent the past weeks "trying" to outsmart squirrels, they are eating the figs just as they are perfectly ripe. I especially like when they sit on the fence post and eat one with gusto!🐿 I'm losing the battle!

My theories on the reduction in youtube revenue: they are offering free trials of KZbin Premium with No Ads, so it appears as though they are trying to move into a paid streaming service and the more people subscribing to premium the less revenue for creators.
