That’s Okra. It’s a slimy veggie when cooked in stew. Great in gumbo and deep fried. Loving the Sunday chow brother. 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Faamalo atu!!! Food looked great. BUT I would like more information on the green leaves you picked for the beef bone soup last minute. I heard quickly the the Samoan name but didn’t catch it. Will you plz lmk what it’s called in English & Samoan. It looks similar when chopped like collard greens here. However much smaller & nice lighter green when u picked them off the stems. Another thing one of your videos you apologized for not being a chef when cutting your vegetables. I think personally you have quite a lot of knowledge in cooking that then most people I see cooking on here that are not chefs either. Speaking specifically when you take the oil and reused it to fry your fish yet concerned of the beef scent! I remembered from a past video I watched where you knew to collect the oil on top and use it as well… keep it up!! 🌴🌺🌴

😂 at the loophole…if the protocol is about the food, leftover or new food then yes but if it’s about the respect given to the role of matai then leftover is just food and each day is a new day, so leftover or new food, it’s food, so sorry you still follow the traditional way of doing things 😝 😂❤but hey you dod you 😊 or time to be bestowed a title so you can cook and eat any time you like. And okra is yummy and great, I make gumbo with it, but be mindful of the mucilage if you don’t care for the slimy texture. But with the pele, your soup was probably extra thick 😂
