She teaches me more about myself as an amarrican than I ever have being born and raised here.

As I was watching KZbin and listening to her story about how she grew up in North Korea, it was titled stories of us. I couldn't help but my eyes filled with tears to see what this poor girl had to go through and seeing her life . I'm happy for her that she was able to escape and she's in this country enjoying her freedom and our god-giving rights as a human being. God bless her

Yeonmi Park is brilliant, and her books are awesome, shocking, and sometimes an emotional roller-coaster.

I had my 12 year old listen to her on rogan and wow does that affect how much appreciation a young person can have for our country and how important it is and up to us to maintain those freedoms and fight for them including corrupt government and bureaucrats and bad actors.

Yeonmi , I have all her books, she is a great writer and "in order to live" .. I cried.. she really has such an amazingly sweet personality and such a touching story, everything she's been through, this is a strong role model, especially for woman.

What a disgrace by this reporter. He nervously chuckles after Yeonmi shares the horror about being sold as sx slave. She is an incredibly brave woman and her life deserves to be heard with understanding and compassion. Get a reporter than is up for the challenge not just a guy getting a pay check.

Sorry people, she’s a storyteller of stories that aren’t hers. I can give TONS of proof apparently people don’t care to even question. But ask yourself this one question: As of today,11/19/24, What 501c3 charity is she directly involved with in CONTRIBUTING not RECEIVING (as she’s on a receiving end of a few of those) does she endorse, promote , have oversight of? Answer: None . PayPal and other forms of donations without open oversight to such a “committed” cause she believes is EXTREMELY questionable. But hey, give blindly to anyone promoted on the internet that has substantial amount of questionable authenticity… That’s your choice. It’s sad making statements like this because individuals choose to abuse those they claim to want to protect…ps Why did Ms. Park denounce her belief inGod after crossing the” Frozen Gobi desert” only to still claim to be atheist until the birth of her child? Seems the miracle of surviving-40 degree temperatures as she’s claimed many times before wearing little clothing would make a believer out of most. Remember the WWII saying “there’s no atheists in fox holes” I think that would present itself a valid in her case but maybe not? … She’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing ,her prize is not flesh but money.

I disagree with you, but found it curious that after breaking the chains of freedom, she wears a dress that depicts several chains wrapped around her!?
