Thank you so much for these past months. I don’t think I missed a broadcast and being in the United States, your English coverage was essential to follow and understand this epic event. So many wonderful guests and regulars graced your stage. To finish with Clarisse was perfect for me because I have been following her since the last Vendee and her story was a Hollywood screenplay with a happy ending. Congratulations, Clarisse! It was so great to see her cross the line in this VG after all of the obstacles she faced even getting to the start this time. Thank you so much to Andi, Dee, and everyone else involved in the English-language broadcasts and the whole race organization. This is my third time following the VG live and the English coverage was really a step up in this edition. Is there any chance we could ever get translated versions of the IMOCA graphic novels we’ve been looking at in the background every day for months? It just seems so COOL that there are actual Vendée Globe comics published in France. And shout out to Adélie for the photobombs and dancing, she’s so cute!

It seems fairly common to use it in normal French speech, so I think it’s just native Francophones going “What adjectives mean ‘good’ in English? Uh, they say ‘super’, I know that!”
