This is an old video, it wasnt really well put together and I naturally curse, If you're looking for Christian wholesome and well organized tutorials for the whole family, than look elsewhere. I doubt cursing and being opinionated about certain flash aspects will cause any huge conflict for me in life.

In my opinion: It's easier to learn from a expirenced animator, rather some "professional" that goes over the features that Flash has.

@a3headedcat Never animate in a Movieclip, Animate in a graphic but convert it when done as a movie clip. Hope that helps that what it sounds like you're asking.

@Dylawr3nc3 Chode, and thats just 1 project file, There was like 13 or so project files im pretty sure there was well over 6,000 symbols maybe more all together. I didnt compile it though, to incredible.

@artist222pro You must click open the properties tab,click on your symbol and then you will be able to see its properties.Below fill and stroke you have color effect,display and filters but they aren't shown.You have to click on the little triangle that is in front of their name to uncover them. Now my question.Did you try changing the shortcut for smooth like it is shown here? i have problems with that

Flash CS5 didn't have the smoothing option in modify just 'advanced smooth' which didn't produce the same result. I'm researching hopefully to find the way to do this just to pass it on

Could you draw a unique color swatch, save it as a symbol, and then use the ink dropper to use them again?

@Spazkidin3D but when I do that the symbol that's already in the timeline keeps working as a graphic and I'll have to start that symbol's animation all over and still not getting it to animate when exported to video. Although I think its possible to get around that if I export it as .mov sorry for bothering and I would be really glad if you took a look at my animations. THANKS!

I have been using flash for over two years now and I really got used to it but I am still bugged by the "filters not available for graphics thing" since movie clips (besides not animating in the timeline) don't animate when exported as a video. can you please tell me how to get around that? thanks in advance!

I wasn't sure what video to ask this under, so I'm doing it here. So I've got a short little animation that I created to test with. Several times while I was creating it, I used the "Test Movie" button under Control. It worked fine. When I tried uploading the video to youtube, it said my audio or some shit had failed to be recognized. From this point on, I have not been able to view the test movie or test scene, it just shows a white screen. "Play" under Control does work however. What do?

@FlyingZetex yeah, the Filters only came up when i had a text or symbol selected. Otherwise, it was invisible and located on the side hiding. but Yeah, CS5 is a tricky one.

Excellent video, I subscribed, but can someone help me an a somewhat related topic. I recently purchased a Huion pen tablet specifically for drawing on flash animation, the only probelm is no matter which verson I download of flash animation, my pen tablet doesn't work. It moves the cursor and stuff, but it can't click on any of the buttons or draw on the canvas. It works fine when I use Paint or as a mouse for my computor, it's just the Flash program that it doesn't work, it their a speicfic setting or function I'm suppose to use? If anyone has a solution please help me with it.

When you break a symbol apart and change it. You don´t change the symbol in the library. The original symbol will still be in your library. In short: when you break a symbol apart, your image in your workspace isn't a symbol anymore.

@CarlosJulio20 calm down kid. you get it at a major discount if you're a student. Also, its kinda hard to steal CS5/5.5 now. They check all keys recently activated. I used a keygen for it and it worked and let me use it with full access the day i got it, but the next day Adobe deactivated the key.
