I never knew about the V-CAM before. It certainly explains why your flash animations have such fluid camera movements. Not knowing how to properly do camera movements in flash is one of the main things that has been keeping me from doing more flash animations but I'll definitely be looking into the V-CAM thing now that I know about it. yes, it's a common problem, I tend to try an sync it to work better in the swf and ignore the fla, since the swf is what people will see

Dude I just downloaded and opened ur files... Man theyre so amazing and complicated. Like wtf man, so many layers! From the head to the eyes to the eyebrows to the mouths... the blank frames serve no purpose :P and the reason his posture is reversed at one point is because early on he was facing the other way in the animation, and rather then flipping the external graphic around and animating him the opposite way, i just flipped that section in the graphic itself and animated him facing the way i needed him faced.

USE. A. V-CAM. It's just a normal movie clip with script attached, download to reference file and use mine if you want. Once you convert your life will change.

Hard to answer that question since i animate the characters to their individual audio tracks at first then replace them in the main timeline with a single large audio track, so something might have been miffed in translation...

Change the symbol to a graphic instead of a movie clip, then set the properties of it to either play once or loop, depending on what you need.

I'm not much of an animator or a coder, but I've fiddled with it a bit and here are my suggestions: Make sure that the file is set to use AS2 not AS3. Also, if it's a direct copy/paste, you might be having an issue with the coding since it was designed for a different animation (which is what this looks like as far as I can tell). Seems to be referencing to something that isn't there, so you might wanna check the code or have someone else check it if you're not a coder. Good luck, hope I helped.

No, sadly, adobe made the bone tool something completely useless to animators. At least in my opinion and the opinion of every animator I've talked to about it.

Download the reference file - Open flash - Go to the library - Open a folder that he named "assets" - You'll see Vcam - Copy and paste it into your projects library - Now you can use it in your projects.

Can we drop in a drawing from PS and trace over in Flash (I guess make it a symbol?) and secondly... can I add photos (such as jpgs, stock, textures) to a drawing?
