Our God is so amazing! Sat down to read and my mind was drawn to "home" and what home has been for me over span of time, childhood, then married life. My nest is now empty, my husband is in heaven, and I realized the earthly home doesn't mean so much anymore, though I'm thankful for it. Heaven is truly more real as my home. I then googled "home song" and here you came with heaven songs you weren't even planning to do". Thank you, and thank you Lord!!

For I need Thee every hour, of every passing day, to hide my soul in the cleft of the Rock, that shadows a dry thirsty Land!!! For we may ever have the Joy Bells as we take Him by the hand, Moment by Moment til we reach the promised Land. Thanks again for so many hymns of Love and Grace, Natalie and Josh. God bless you Natalie and Josh! Fellow Baptist here and I want to say how special it is that you glorify the Lord using these trusted and true hymns of old. So many churches today have cast them out when they have such awesome and doctrinally correct lyrics to meditate on as you sing them. My daughter is 13 and she looks up to you very much as she is a piano player. Also love how you are dressed so nice and beautiful when you do these episodes and your home looks so lovely and beautiful you have decorated it so tastefully. Praise God!

Natalie I am a piano teacher and have been teaching since 1971, so this is my fiftieth year! I listen to you via KZbin every morning to start my day. I know the words to most of the hymns you play since I was raised in the Baptist Church back in the days before “praise teams” and technology took over. I miss those days so much. We sang from the old Broadman Hymnal. Thank you so much for helping to keep these hymns alive. Virginia Nance

Down At The Cross!! When we received news that my late Great Aunt Louise had passed away several years ago, we learned that she had willed her beautiful piano to ME - Well this song was in my mind and in my heart that whole day. And, when momma came home later that night, I told her about that song, and that I couldn't think of the name. She said immediately - Down At The Cross! Well, through her help, I've learned how to play it! Thank you and I love your videos and songs so much!!

Thanks again, Natalie, for your beautiful music and your timely comments, given to us with such grace. I am always amazed at your memory and the incredible accuracy of your playing. It's amusing to hear you say you don't know certain hymns, like 'Moment by moment' and (a few weeks ago) 'Ivory Palaces', which I think are 'standard repertoire' here in Britain - but that's probably a reflection on my age! Thanks too, Josh, for your technical stuff. The sound is great! May God bless your ministry together.

Chariots of fire was written for the film “Chariots of Fire” back in 1982. The film was based on the Olympic games of 1924 which were held in Paris it centres on two athletes Eric Liddell and Howard Abraham’s. Eric Liddell was born in China to Scottish missionaries. He was a 100m runner who refused to run in the heats on Sunday because he was a Christian he was entered in another running race which he won. He qualified as a teacher after finishing university and went to be a missionary in China. He also qualified as a congregational minister on a period of furlough. On his return to China he married the daughter of Canadian missionaries. They had three children the last which he never saw as his wife and family were evacuated due to the increasing Japanese hostility. He stayed behind to helps was interned by the Japanese and died in the concentration camp not therefore not seeing his third child. The other main character was a Jewish athlete who ran for I think for oxford university and also won a gold at the Olympics. I have watched the film years ago. Eric Liddell was a true hero the faith and Chariots of Fire was the theme tune. Another tune in the film is Jerusalem based on a poem by William Blake an unofficial English national anthem. Hope this sheds some light on it for you. Wikipedia also gives a good history of Eric Liddell. There are also seem to good Christian biographies of his life on Amazon. Cam Floria of the Continentals once had a piece that included the line there once was a boy that could run like the wind. I think it also contained a tribute to Jim Elliott the US missionary to the Auca Indians who had on his desk the following lines he is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he can never lose.

I don't mean to be hard about this but since you brought up doctrine those who believe in once saved always saved should read Gal 5:4 and Heb 10:26 and 27- 36-38. Yes, we can fall from grace and no longer be saved. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. Love your music and grace be to God for giving you this talent.

John 10:27-30 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. ❤️

@@NatalieRaynesMusicHebrews 10:26 Willful sinning” in this passage carries the idea of consciously and deliberately rejecting Christ. To know God’s way, to hear it preached, to study it, to count oneself among the faithful, and then to turn away is to become apostate. Sinning willfully carries with it the idea of sinning continually and deliberately. Such a person does not sin because of ignorance, nor is he carried away by momentary temptations he is too weak to resist. The willful sinner sins because of an established way of thinking and acting, which he has no desire to give up. The true believer, on the other hand, is one who lapses into sin and loses temporary fellowship with God. But he will eventually come back to God in repentance because his heavenly Father will continually woo and convict him until he can’t stay away any longer. The true apostate will continue to sin, deliberately, willingly and with abandon. John tells us that No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God (1 John 3:9). So yes, falling from grace is possible as an apostate, strictly speaking. Once saved, always saved is a misleading doctrine.

Haven't heard "You May Have the Joy- Bells" since early 1970s. A congregation in Phoenix AZ sung it frequently, sometimes as a dismissal song. JOSH'S QUESTION ABOUT VOLUME: The volume level (as heard on KZbin) is better lately, and your "balance" is good - - Your over-all INPUT volume to You Tube is about half of most channels I watch, i.e. I adjust THEIR volume in the mid-30s, but YOUR volume must be adjusted 80- to 90. I am AMAZED how GOOD the piano sounds in all its range, as I used to have awful headaches with a piano either sounding "tinny" or "muddy."
