Hi JT. Mulch is a must. The difference that it makes is almost unbelievable. I’ll look forward to the fishing videos on your other channel. I find fishing the ultimate in relaxation. Keep well.

Gardening without mulch is almost begging for issues down the road, I can't say enough about how sold I am on the idea! Served a nice bonus when the turkeys where in town as well, since they didn't see any bare dirt they didn't stop to have any dust bathes. Seems like they rather enjoyed both the neighbors gardens for that! I must admit that I'm finding the fishing far more enjoyable now that I'm actually bringing in some fish! They may not be whoppers, but they're something!

JT everything looks like it's taking off quite nicely under your conditions and I'm jealous of your corn

What amazes me is those tomatoes, the corn has been a sad lesson in the importance of watering gardens when we put in seeds ... ☹

The garden is looking fantastic JT. Not sure if you've tried but we've been pollinating our squash and pumpkins with pretty good success. Always more male flowers so we just wait for when a female will open, pluck a male and peel the pedals back and use the stamin to well "polinate" her .. yeah sure that's the word I had in mind ... lol ... Our neighbor starts his pumpkins as early as possible with that method and has had some pretty impressive ones the last few years ;)

I've heard about that but have yet to try it, perhaps next year I'll give that one a go!
