I've just seen Sophie-Louise Dann in Maltby and Shire's 'Closer than Ever' at the Jermyn Street Theatre, London (running til June 6th). This woman is phenomenal.

Wow....this is how Bernadette would have sung it if she hadn't been having vocal/nodule problems at the time! Ms. Dann has such a solid technique that she sings wonderfully in all registers and dynamics - and acts it beautifully, too. BRAVA!! (I confess I did miss the electronic, opening dress, though....)
